Just watched the World Darts Final between Michael 'Bully Boy' Smith and Michael Van Gerwyn

I always appreciate a big event final; and boy this was amongst the best

BOTH players throwing for a 9-dart finish in the same leg with Van Gerwyn hitting the wire on his double before Smith gets his; only the second ever in the final

Incredible game, incredible figures and a worthy champion...

Was a fantastic final Chris. Very pleased for Smith who has finally ditched the bridesmaid tag. MVG was wonderfully gracious in defeat too, one of the best ever.
