PROTESTS NEEDED AT THE CARDIFF CITY STADIUM

Sun Jan 01, 2023 2:36 pm

Something needs to be organised
protesting and moaning on the forum is not bringing anything to the attention of the owner the board
the manager or players if nothing is done
we are going to be going quietly into the night
And playing next season

social media is the new way to protest..
we in enough trouble on the pitch don’t need any more distractions in the stadium..players need support
by all means protest outside main entrance..

ldont know how some of our fans will cope if we get relegated

BONNER

You say players need support they did have at coventry 2,500
and nothing changed some of the players need a kick up the a.se and fight for the football club.

I was at Coventry, thought the players battled .. I was happy with that point.

I was happy with a point at coventry but the bigger picture i am hilighting
overall we need everything to change quickly
Like i have said all rhe ingredients for relagation are there.

We dont need to protest - Tan, Dalman, Choo and perfectly able to know the position we find ourselves in - which is of their doing. Only they have the means to affect change. It's getting to stage that Id rather go to the garden centre on a saturday afternoon than watch the dross being served up at the CCS

Only money talks...... Dalman and Tan have their dosh in the club we don't. (some of you own 0.0000000001% :D ) Relegation costs them more than me. For me its a little day out with my daughter and mates, so very little changes from premier league to L1 for me.

What we need is a "9"

“Something needs to be organised” ….. off you go then Monty boy why don’t you be the one to organise it?
Don’t pass the buck if you feel so strongly about it.

You moan constantly on this forum so now do something about it.

You say i moan constantly not true
are you happy at the moment with the way things are?

As regards me organising anything you know i live up here in the sticks in newtown not cardiff so organising something is a tad more difficult

As i have no association with cardiff apart from a fan and a few mates i sometimes bump into on match days
i have organised many protests here in my town over the years successfully

Also i am not attending games at the moment until misses finshes her cemmo in march to many bugs about so having ro stay clear of crowds unfortunatly

But if i lived in cardiff i would be defenitly be trying to organise something to point out the state the club is in and to maybe force a change through a physical protest outside the ground.

A reality check is needed here. Who in their right mind would buy CCFC ? So what are the options...drift Tan wants out but if he is waiting for a Middle Eastern buyer then good luck with that. The football is on a par as when Slade was at the club woeful, dreary no imagination. I am afraid we are stuck with Tan and Co.

The conundrum for Vinny is how much does the book value of the club go down with relegation?

The second question is how much was the Sala transfer ?

Generally when the media say £xx million is with all the add ons but as there won't be any what was the actual transfer figure ?

Do you really think there’s that much interest in a protest? I don’t think you get over 50.

Re: PROTESTS NEEDED AT THE CARDIFF CITY STADIUM

The first silent protest will be next Sunday when Leeds almost outnumbers us.

The second will be the 10~15% lower season tickets next season whatever league we are in.

Vinny was correct all those years ago, we are customers and will behave like customers. Vinny now wants us to be fans again and blindly follow CCFC,

But does that really represent the fans? Or is it the minority making a lot of noise.

Re: PROTESTS NEEDED AT THE CARDIFF CITY STADIUM

Part of me agrees that some sort of protest is required, but in some ways this has already started by the number of empty seats in the stadium.
People won't pay good money to watch a losing team that can't score goals. (hoof-ball or not)
Also, many season ticket holders appear to be staying away in recent games.

If the owner and board cannot see this, or choose to act on it we simply have no hope.

That’s the forum. Not the real world. What would you say 50 regular posters on here?
Most fans across the country go to support they club as a release time to catch up with friends have a few beers or what ever rocks they boat then go home. Most don’t want to bother themselves with the runnings of their club (business) it’s not they money it doesn’t effect , they pay they money have they release and then back to the real world and they own struggles and problems after. Just like in real life protests are done by the minority because most people are that bothered can’t be bothered or just don’t care. It’s just the way it is. I could be wrong but wrong but I doubt you’ll get much support for a protest they rarely do.

But would be interested to see how you get on if your planning to organise one yourself.

That’s my point no one actually really wants to, there’s little appetite for it. I don’t blame you.

Sorry, but no, it isn't; as proven last time it was tried and then hijacked by the nefarious characters most of whom no longer frequent the CCS...

There is no point in public protests. The only thing modern owners understand are the financial implications and so long as us supporters keep buying tickets, the status quo will remain

A coordinated walkout may have an effect but for me, anything from supporters that compromises the playing side of the club is a non-starter

It's certainly a tough one, but the team on the pitch will always get my support first...! :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Fair enough with your view

you could be right fans do not not seem as bothered thats why the stadium looks so empty at home games
more are enjoying going to away games and who can blame them atmosphere is dire at home
But i cannot believe that fans are not bothered if we get relagated but i can believe that they cannot be ars.d to do anything not even to agree that something needs changing even .

Monty,

I have always said we should respect other peoples opinions, but can’t stand sarcasm and those certain posters come out immediately Tan or say we win a rare game.

I don’t call any fans not a fan for not wanting Tan, I actually dislike fans more who only turn up if the opposition is a big name.

I like you only wants what’s best for our club and I have said for years Tan and his Regime don’t give a f**k for us.

Remember I have had a personal conversation with Tan for 4hrs and everything he promised he went back on.

Met Dalman many times, for me he is a MP or a Boris and I have told him that to his face many times.

Choo always been very respectful to me, but in my view has NO clue about football.

Monty,

We need to at least get 4pts from Wigan & Millwall home.

I can’t see the embargo being lifted in January.

I just hope maybe thing will take they natural course and things will sort themselves out. But I’m not bothered about being in the premier league it’s pointless. League 1 or championship makes little difference to me. I enjoyed the lower 2 leagues a lot more anyway. Except prehaps our first few years in the championship.
