Angry Callum Robinson storms down the tunnel after substitution as Cardiff City boss Mark Hudson explains what happened
The forward was taken off when City desperately needed a goal and reacted angrily to the decision

Mark Hudson:

Hudson told Sky Sports after the match: "Well, he missed the last game through injury. And we know how important he is to the club.

“I have players on the bench raring to go, so I know we are chasing for a goal, and trying to get on the pitch.”

“We improved but not enough for that vital goal”

“ We need to work on our shape.”

Mark Hudsons decision:

Callum Robinson went off and he was furious with the decision. Headed straight down the tunnel. Isaak Davies came on #CCFC

Don’t blame him one bit …tried his hardest …Hudson looked lost at times on the touch line .

Losing the dressing room. Clueless management especially as Harris was woeful. He needs dropping from the squad never mind starting.

Rumour will have us believe that Morison lost the dressing room for many reasons and now it seems Hudson is following suit.
He clearly doesn't know his best starting 11 or formation.
Robinson's reaction portrayed a deeper narrative to me which doesn't look good.
The players seem devoid of any ideas and are becoming more lightweight every game.
I thought today there were some nasty late tackles from a few players whether that is frustration or something else I am not sure.
The club from top to bottom is a shambles which needs addressing now.
Tan is never there so is conspicuous by his absence, this embargo is yet another kick in the guts, where will it all end?
Relegation, administration.
Ideas on a postcard please.

The first day of the new year and you can already see and feel the shape of the next 12 months. Another panic is inevitable, another temporary fix, no progress made, the same well trodden path. If that’s not Cardiff City, I don’t know what is and I’m so sick of the predictability

Looking at the body language today - Id say Hudson has lost the dressing room. I'd also say he's lost full stop and I cant see it changing any time soon.

Like it not this league requires experienced coaches and managers .yes they are expensive.. but invaluable. We have a decent skilled squad ,we were better under Moza.

But CR did Fcuk all...... His minimal contribution was better than Harris or Whytes no contribution though.

What could Hudson do, except admit with have no forward and throw a centre half up top ?

The squad is shit. We need one but probably two proper centre forwards, no projects a fully developed centre forward. I would threaten Sheff Wednesday that we will recall McGuiness unless we can get Paterson on loan

Even a blind person would have taken Harris off before Robinson. CR involved in 9 goals in 12 games....

As a striker Harris is as useful as a wet match.

I have said all along that we should havw kept Steve Morison - his sacking was stupid, especially as he was replaced by an untried manager. Unfortunately,Hudson looks lost and in trouble. BUT who is Callum Robinson to make a public show ahainst him. CR was sh@te today. Harris played better than him, although thats not saying much.If WBA sidnt rate Robinson and he seldom seems much of a threat :bluebird:

CR probably had his worst game for us today but he still offered more than Harris. I thought Rhinomota did ok when he came on and Ojo offered more than Davies snd Colwill.

It's not as if Robinson is scoring week in week out.

However compared to our other forwards

Mark Harris (9 goals in 78 appearances)
Isaak Davies (2 in 30)
Kion Etete (1 in 12)
Gavin Whyte (1 in 45)
Sheyi Ojo (6 in 64)
Max Watters (1 in 22)

Robinson's 4 goals in 15 appearances tend to suggest that if you need to score a goal it's probably better to have him on the pitch then any of the above.

If nothing happening CR will look to make things happen, I didn't understand taking him off that early

Plus I reckon he’s our top creator

Hudson reckoned it was a precaution as he'd missed the last game through injury.
