Mark Hudson updates Fans on Transfer Embargo:

Cardiff City are under a Transfer embargo.:

Asked for an update on the situation, he said:

Mark Hudson:

"Nothing new. All the lawyers are dealing with the situation behind the scenes. Constant dialogue, but there's nothing new from yesterday."

“There is a risk that if the embargo ekes on into the first few weeks of the window then some of the club's transfer targets might opt for other clubs over Cardiff.”

"If that's to be the case, that's the case," he added. "We have got targets. If it doesn't happen before the first (of January), we will continue to work with the group that we've got.”

"It's going to be a long month."

What’s happening behind the scenes:

The Hierarchy Tan / Dalman and Co I believe are asking for the three window Transfer Embargo to be suspended whilst they look at all other avenues of trying to get out of paying the Emiliano Sala Transfer fee.

The Hierarchy have had three court cases and lost all three all stating Emiliano Sala was a Cardiff City player.

The Total amount is now £20 mill owing and Dalman has stated the club do not have the money and have No intentions of paying it.

Dalmans is saying that as they are now going down the route of suing the insurance brokers and the agents etc that they should have the Transfer Embargo suspended for now until those outcomes .

So Mark Hudsons hopes rely on this.

Lennon Peake ( West Ham) was very keen to join us and even contracts were drawn up, spoke to his Dad yesterday, they are being told virtually nothing.

So after New Year there are a number of other clubs who have approached West Ham for him and I am really hoping we don’t lose him.

I would be amazed if we get this embargo overturned. We are just wasting more legal fees

That’s my exact feelings, the more they keep this going the more it’s costly to our club on and of the pitch.
£20million now, unbelievable.
