A forum for all things Cardiff City

The Hierarchy Tan / Dalman and Co I believe are asking for the three window Transfer Embargo to be suspended whilst they look at all other avenues of trying to get out of paying the Emiliano Sala Transfer fee.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=204226They have had three court cases and lost all three all stating Emiliano Sala was a Cardiff City player.
The Total amount is now £20 mill owing and Dalman has stated the club do not have the money and have No intentions of paying it.
Dalmans is saying that as they are now going down the route of suing the insurance brokers and the agents etc that they should have the Transfer Embargo suspended for now until those outcomes .
So Mark Hudsons hopes rely on this.

Last year Dalman said direct in a fans meeting to Wayne Anderson aka Dibs ( Bridgend Supporters club )that the money was put aside and would be there if needed, after being asked the direct question by Dibs.

I am shocked if truth absolutely shocked NO protests at this Regime.
I live abroad now and 57 years old and in my time lend two protests against this Regime, Rebrand & Malky.
And three at other boards Kumar brothers , Tony Clemo and The Riddler.
Time to see action by the New generation.

Years ago we were amazing on getting our voices heard.
Since being in the new stadium our fans just walk away

This club is run by successful businessmen, who don’t get into the position they are in without knowing when they do and don’t have to pay a bill. At the end of the day it’s their money, not mine.
I am concerned about the embargo, and I’m concerned about the performance of the team. But it doesn’t spoil my enjoyment of supporting the team.
If anyone knows of another very wealthy person who wants to buy the club , then I’m sure Mr Tan will happily sell up in fact wants to sell up and be gone as fast as possible. But until then it’s not an issue as far as the vast majority of fans are concerned, if we go down we do down together .

You say vast majority care about the team not the board?
We are where we are because of the board do you not see that?
Budget team budget manager part time board thats why we are where we are.

So let me get this right, our board of directors are hoping the EFL is going to agree to overturn our transfer embargo which will allow us to spend more money (which Dalman claims we haven’t got) on loan fees and extra wages when we are still refusing to pay for a player we signed 4 years ago which is the reason we are in an embargo in the first place
Absolute madness!!!

Superbly summed up!

I have always said there are two issues, and two separate court cases here
1) who owned ES at the time of his death.
2) if CCFC were deemed to own ES they can sue (another party) for loss of their asset and possible loss of revenue
IMPORTANTLY - The 2 claims are separate.
It has been decided that ES was owned by CCFC. Accordingly, in my opinion, we should pay the £15m straight away. No questions. The money has been said to be there.
The 2nd claim can still happen. ES was proven to be ours and someone owes us for the loss of an assert worth £15m. Someone also owed us for the potential loss of revenue.
It maybe the case that we might bring a successful case against nantes and it maybe the case that at some point they are ordered by a court to pay us £15m loss of assett and £60m loss of revenue - but we do need to pay nantes the £15m first in my opinion

This is also how I see it and would like our chairman to reply to this question from the media and confirm where the money is that was put aside

Or maybe the majority of people aren’t as concerned about this current regime or, at least, can’t see any attractive option.
To be honest, whilst I do defend the current regime, I do think it probably time for a change, however, that should only happen if we have a better option and up to now I haven’t see one.
I do still support the owners stance on the Sala issue though. I still think we will get that money back even if we do have to pay out initially.
