Under normal circumstances I’d say it’s a good move but with a transfer embargo upon us, surely we need to keep our players.

Hes a decent player

I've only seen him once recently and thought he was excellent when he came on against Villa albeit in the Whitts testimonial friendly, but they had a strong midfield on the pitch and he sprayed some lovely passes around - just what we need a bit of creativity in there so I would keep him.

Can we not bring a loanee in to replace him?

On TV the other day they said you can still sign players under a transfer embargo to make up squad numbers up to a certain point (I think 23?)

yes it's true you can staff up anyone under 21 doesn't count in the 23 staff numbers .

Would be madness to let him go if we are loaning Vontea Campbell out. A long term injury to Romeo would leave us very short for cover at right back.
