West Brom have taken out a £20 million loan on interest:
The club say it will go towards “general footballing operations”.

That club is in a mess.. Didn't they owner take a loan out from the club for himself. And their chairman keeps saying he will pay it back.

The institution that is lending the money as loans with several other clubs if people think we are a mess they really need to look around them WBA still getting parachute payment this season reading been in embargo for over a year now ...... wont be many clubs spending money in January other than usual clubs.....ffp is not applicable as they've been in premier league in time frame required to count for ffp

This FFP seems a very fluid rule depending on who you are or how much risk you're willing to take.

Problem is its messed up if get to premier league and if you get several promotion and relegations in a row it makes it even more of a muddle..... but as was pointed out how can a club who's had 13yrs of premier league status be in such a mess?
