Mark Hudson says that its looking positive on the embargo

Mon Dec 26, 2022 9:15 pm

Cardiff face Coventry City on Thursday before the transfer window opens. However, as things stand they will be unable to do much business due to them being under a transfer embargo.

MARK HUDSON:

In a small, but potentially significant, update after the match, Hudson said talks are continuing and the prospect of having the ban lifted is "looking positive".

"We are in constant dialogue," Hudson said of the embargo. "They are in conversations at the moment and there is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes and i am told things are going well."

"We will have to see what happens, but fingers crossed, it's looking positive."

I smell BS from Hudson on this.
Things looking hopeful - really ? maybe he can expand on that a little.
Time will tell ... no it wont Mark, time will tell you are talking out of your backside in order to deflect from yet another rubbish display.
I wish you all the success in the world and more , but this is like putting lipstick on a pig. A perfect storm of bad luck - and there is nothing we can do to get out of it.
Dont have the players(even though we bought in 17 players last season) , cant get new players as there is an embargo. And we dont have the coaching or managerial experience to try and play our way out of it -

In a word Mark, Ken,Dalman and Tan we is fooked - youve been pokered by your own incompetence

I would be amazed if we get the embargo overturned even if we did it will just be cheap loan deals

Would be taking the piss if we went out and bought someone after saying we can’t pay Nantes because we are skint

We were never going to buy anyone embargo or not. I'd be surprised if there are many big money transfers in the Championship. We changed our season with loans last Jan. An embargo does not prevent us from loaning or signing unattached players, we would have to release players first. We already know Tanner is one player going out.

I don’t think anyone is saying that we can’t pay Nantes because we are skint, it’s deeper than that

Dalman has stated we NO longer have the money and it was never put aside.

We are allowed 23 players in squad got 22 so how many players will we sign if no embargo 2.3.4.5 do we have that many to release? In reality we probably got 1 player
in to make the 23 players...... so is embargo as relevant as been made out to be? Based on the facts no but doesnt mean to say it shouldn't have been let to happen in 1st place
