I agree. He put a lot in today, yet some just won't see it...

Ralls was one of our best players today.

I do struggle on here some days, we are in a dog fight and we have Ralls, Wintle and Kipre and that's it. I should add NG but he is often going against much bigger men and is overpowered.
Its championship football and its not pretty, its basically a different game from your premier and champions league games.
If we took those 3 out we'd be 10 points adrift by now.
Give me Bennett and Peltier and we'd have a platform for the pretty boys to do something. It's all this fantasy about playing the right way that will lead to our relegation to L1, and its even more of a battle as you drop down the leagues.
Thank the lord we still have Ralls, I do agree his best days are behind him, but he still does an invaluable job for us.

I’d say that Romeo is pretty solid mate.

Ralls was good at breaking things up and tackling back yesterday, one of the best out there so what game were some watching?

Jules, it all hinges on the result for many of our 'support'
They always seem to need a scapegoat and Ralls has been a target for some time now, yet different managers keep selecting him when we are good, bad and/or indifferent
We don't really have a player who is underperforming or not making an effort; our selected team gives 100% and is only where it is by a lack of a proper goal-scoring striker. Robinson, Etete and Mark Harris would thrive with such a player
Will it change in January? Who knows? I'm led to believe the embargo is in for the duration but the manager seems to think that may not be the case
Never a dull moment at our club and/or with our negative supporters...

Well Chris I need to be careful as I get accused of constant negatively!!!
Bloody hell, we've had some scapegoats over the years but to me they mostly gave their best and you can't ask more than that.
Things hopefully changing for me so season ticket next for me hopefully whatever league we in as some who seem to do the criticising haven't been down the dungeon.

Joe Rolls!

I thought he had a decent game yesterday. Only Philogene seemed to struggle to get into the game.
For me yesterday, we were simply a player short in midfield to give more options for Kipre and Ng to play out to. So many times Kipre was frustrated not having someone in front of him to go to. Robinson was coming deeper to get the ball too.
Allsop was obviously getting frustrated with it as well as he started launching it a lot more instead of playing out.
I’m in the positive camp that in general we have a good enough squad to be sitting mid table, just missing a bit of tactical nous at times and a bit of professional snide. Other teams pull so many professional strokes to break up our momentum. Which we don’t seem to reciprocate

Is Ralls the new Watters ? There always has to be a scapegoat I guess but I agree with those who said he had a good game yesterday.

A very solid, and reliable player, who played extremely well yesterday, breaking up play and providing the platform for attacks. The team has problems, such as playing one of our most creative options at LB, but Ralls is a definite plus in my opinion.

I really don’t rate Ralls.
Our midfield looks much more balanced with Rinomhota and Wintle. Ralls simply doesn’t have the legs to put the opposition under pressure and that’s where it’s all falling down at the moment.
Ralls is too similar in style to Wintle and nobody will ever convince me that he’s anywhere near as good as Wintle.

ralls and wintle are decent holding midfielders, but playing in the same side, lack the legs to break forward and support, or provide an attack. This is where we miss Keiffer Moore who could occasionally hold the ball up, allowing the rest of the team to move up the pitch. Etete may be able to perform a similar job in time, but his finishing also needs to improve, as well as Robinson's.

Thought ralls had another decent game last night against Coventry. Don't know why people put rhinomota Infront of him, he was a passenger all game

He is entering his Gunnar phase, any pace has definitely gone and is running in lead boots but he is seeing the game better than ever, he is snuffing out stuff before it happens.
He is part of the reason we have so many "nils" the problem is where Gunnar could go and give it to genuine championship attackers Joe can't, so we only get "nils" in the "for" column.

Agree thought rhinomota gave away a lot of possession tbh

Ralls played well yesterday and is a decent player we need for the rest of season. Rinamota reminded me of Robbie savage just running around but not doing anything with the ball
