RUBIN Colwill

I really cannot understand the continuous fuss over Rubin Colwill. It serms he is treated as the saviour of Cardiff City myself I'm yet to see a performance from him to show he is any better than a average lower league player. What he shows in training is nothing as its needed on match day against other teams which as yet I have not seen. Every day we read about this player we have better players in the team and coming through the under 23s. I'd like to be proved wrong and see any potential class in him come through but at the moment he seems to be injury prone. He is not the saviour of the team. We have a good enough team to stay in the division without him. Patience we are only half way through the season things will change give Hudson a break he will get us there so will the team.

Tbf I don't think he's played in the right position to me he looks a AMC.

If you watch how he passes the ball it's great technique. He's can put in a good ball with power with ease.

But yeah to say he will carry Cardiff to the Premier not sure about that

He's in the mould of Andy Gorman, Jason Gummer, Jamie Unsworth and Allan Lewis . A squad player given an kppirtunity because we are a very poor side.

Tony Bird had plenty more in him, Lee Baddeley possibly more potential.

If we get a nucleus of better players Colwill might be a squad player at best.

You really are an idiot.

The guy has started one game due to ongoing injuries and his body developing. He protected the ball well and always took it on the half-turn trying to go forward. He lacked sharpness but that will come.

I watched all of those players and none of them had his talent and certainly none of them scored goals of the quality that he has done against Forest, QPR and Liverpool.

This guy will play at a higher level. All the coaches at City and Wales level have rated him at each age level since he was a kid, but you seem to be either some footballing expert with a different view to the other professionals or, more likely, a silly bitter little man who would like to take out his frustrations with the club regime on a youngster trying to make it in the game, cheap shot.

Colwill just needs a run of games. If he gets that I think it’s unlikely he’ll be with us next season because I know that bigger clubs are already watching his progress very closely.

All that said, I think his younger brother is even better !!

Undoubtedly when he goes to a bigger club which most people think he will .... there will be the same people who are basically calling him not good enough for city 1st team they'll be the same ones will be criticising club for letting him go cheaply when he does sign for bigger club..... wales set up thinks hes got what takes aswell but our expert pundits obviously know differently ... crackers (not xmas either)
