Around 9,000 home end tickets sold for Leeds

Thu Dec 22, 2022 7:52 am

Around 9,000 home end tickets sold for Leeds United (H), Sunday Jan 8th.

To close to Christmas so don’t expect many to splash out on tickets just yet

Leeds have an allocation of 8,000 tickets.

With numbers you have to realise many people also have cup games included with their season ticket That adds about 4k to the figures

Cup games are not included in season ticket,,,they give you a time limit to buy your seat that you have with season ticket,,if you choose not to buy it goes on general sale..I got mine when they came out...

Games not for 2 weeks, I'd expect a crowd of around 25,000 with the Leeds fans
Leeds aren't that much of a draw anymore especially to younger fans it's 20 yrs since they were a top club

They are a Premier league club now and will undoubtedly sell their allocation. I think it will be the highest attendance of the season.

Thus is the game that should be kids for a quid, biggest crowd of season with a electric atmosphere.Fill the red seats if that’s where we are moving the family stand too.Put a temporary club shop stall up there with all the Xmas left overs on it.
Happy Days.

As income is shared between team for FA cup games Leeds would have to agree to that pricing as i understand it So not as simple as the club just doing it

I disagree that you say Leeds are not a draw anymore in my eyes they are they take thousands where ever they go and we have a big rivalry with yes I remember the great Leeds teams yes I agree the younger generation don’t seem them the way i do but if they where playing man United at old Trafford United would sell out even if the game was at elland road it would sell out and they have a huge rivalry I think this is a great tie going into the new year something to look forward to and if we win it will give us the fans a huge lift rather be playing Leeds than someone like Shrewsbury

I think you misrespresent the ongoing rivalry between The Bluebirds and The Peacocks; two clubs that have a history that goes well beyond 'that infamous game' under Sam's tenure

We generally have the upperhand over the years and we were the catalyst for their collapse from Premier League leaders to League One

I'm looking forward to this and win, lose or draw, I will be behind the Bluebirds and given the Leeds fans as much 'stick' as possible

I just hope the guy behind me with the flag comes up with something appropriate. The French flag was brilliant at the Blackpool game and got even better when the Bartley Bluebird got hold of it...

Moments to savour as a Bluebird supporter.. ! :ayatollah: :bluescarf:  :notworthy:
