Cardiff City First-team coach Dean Whitehead believes Cardif

Cardiff City First-team coach Dean Whitehead, Mark Hudson assistant manager believes Cardiff's poor form is down to the inexperience of their squad and thats why City have only won two games in their last ten outings, despite now playing together for 30 games including friendlies, cup and Championship matches.



Despite Steve Morison insisting he brought a lot of EFL experience into the building in the summer and showed that quite a few of them between them had notched up 400 Championship / Premier league games, Whitehead believes there are still a number of young and inexperienced players the club are relying on.


Dean Whitehead:


Speaking in the programme ahead of the match on Saturday, he said: "Results have been a little bit up and down, but that happens when you're developing young players.

"The boys are learning on the job, trying to improve every game in one of the most brutal leagues in the world. We'll have some inconsistencies, and it's down to us as coaches to to get the lads doing the right things on a more regular basis.

"What they give every day, and in every session, is engaged and focused. They always ask questions and as coaches we need to have the right answers."

Beyond belief, I do not think I have seen him get out of his seat and say anything or show passion, as much as I am not a great fan of Bellamy, at least you see him getting up and barking advice, orders. These two do nothing to inspire anyone.

I read on a Stoke forum the other week a fan who was behind the dugouts said Whitehead was very vocal and convincing to MH to make the double substitutions in the 2nd half,for what it's worth.
