Now is the time to get Tan out..

Sun Dec 18, 2022 4:16 pm

He must now be under immense pressure. Things have got worse quite rapidly over the last few years... if they continue on this downward trend, then very soon a winding up order will be next on the agenda.

Crowds dwindling, popularity lost, his name tainted.

He must sell, and he must see the fans disillusionment. This year, he has made me fall out of love with a club I have followed for 50 years.

No more will I attend a game while he presides over our club. I know I will make zero difference, bit right now, in whatever way you see fit, stand up for immediate change. Let Tan know he is no longer welcome.

CCFC have our pride to somehow win back.

Thats my piece written.

Could do with less people turning they backs on the club and fellow fans. Doesn’t help ccfc case at all.
That’s not the answer, I don’t know what is well I a have an idea but no one would like it. We will be ok and keep on going.

I have supported this club since 81 and i'll be honest, in those 40 seasons, I have only been a regular for 20 of them. i used to religiously buy the football echo and read every report in the Echo, but the dungeon was not for me ( i started to play parks), then a young family and I can see another one of those periods.

Out of my group of 7, only 2 are going to Leeds home, that was out of the question at the start of the season. The attendance for that game will shock Tan as it will be very visible on international TV.

I am nursing a mother of a hangover but last night we were talking of just meeting in the gatekeeper at 4pm every home game saving ourselves £360, as its the beers after the game that make it palatable. I doubt we'll go that far and L1 with some sort of plan is fine but the nothingness is doing my head in.

Very good piece as well... but I presume you've bought a ST if you have you are supporting club and tan even if you dont go so a pointless gesture? If havent got ST not sure it matters what you do? Tan needs to go but as he knows what's said this forum he knows what fans want and think so far makes no difference... think it's a case of heads you lose tails you lose as far as tan is concerned. :old:

A protest for Tan out is on cards or a few banners during the game when we are live on TV. :old:

We need someone who’s serious to come in. So what’s the point as no one is really that interested at the price tan wants. What we need is to somehow entice a buyer in, then get tan out.

The only thing that will get tan out is when someone puts serious money in the table .

really? where is the queue of people wanting to buy us?
Never could turn my back on my football club, yes, it’s frustrating, can ruin your weekend, but it’s all part of the ride.
Love my club, this team is not far away from being a good one..
support the boys and make some noise.

Absolutely a spot on post, I’d never turn my back on the club I love because of the owner/chairman/CEO or whoever.
How can any genuine Cardiff fan turn their back on their club

So in summary, the going is a little tough and I’m not loyal enough to stick by my Club.

Yep! I agree with this sentiment; and even certain vehement anti-Tanners have refusef to walk away from the CLUB (not owner) they still love...

It's not all about Tan and with limited exceptions, real supporters don't just walk away when the going gets tough; they usually have 'other' reasons for doing so...

I've said this before and I know it to be a fact in many cases

I'm not knocking their real reasons but to claim they stop going for reasons other than the genuine one is disingenuous to themselves and the club they once purported to support

I can tell you now Jonny, Barclay 1 has been a very very loyal fan for unbelievable years.

Me personally I will never stop supporting my club, but I’ve said before those that have been hurt beyond by Tan and his regime , I can understand how they feel and I know many that have stopped and won’t return until he has gone.
Crowds are dwindling and even though we are averaging 17,000, some matches there has been barely 13,000 in actual attendance, if we we stay up this season, I honestly see less renewing their season tickets under Tan.

Fans if they want when we are live on tv should be able to put their banners up on how they feel.

Tan has had three different offers over the last 2yrs, but due to how badly we have been run, he wants way to much money as unnecessary debts have been made.

Sometimes it’s best to cut your losses as if we go down, we will be worth a lot less and it’s more than hard to get promoted back up as many clubs have seen this.

On Fb, Twitter and fans I Spk to , their is hardly a fan that now backs Tan, just the usual 8 or so on here.

Yep, couldn’t agree more.

You support the club and the team who are doing their best even though they are under performing in terms of results at the moment.

‘Pathetic’ sums this poster up in general terms.

We probably have buyers but Tan simply tells them to go away.
All we fans can do is simply dont get the season tickets for next season
get that stadium empty like when Slade was in charge when there was only 14 thousand fans in the stadium

Tan will simply give up then.

i guess it’s all about who you speak to ….
and i don’t think it’s about whether you support Tan or not, it’s about supporting your club..
yes you can get banners and shout Tan out.. is that really going to help the team when we are in the middle of a relegation fight?,
no , it isn’t…
social media is the platform for that… and i think those that don’t like Tan use it well.
This is about, supporting your team regardless… it’s hard enough for the players as it is, all of which , seem to be giving 100%

Would you call Oldham fans who were disrupting matches, not real Oldham fans?

We're in deep trouble. If we go down, we will be in League one with over 100 million worth of debt. We would be in real threat of going out of business in that situation.

You can support the team, while also protesting against the board simultaneously. I'm not sure why it has to be one or the other.

Oldham fans did boycott games too. Their Supporters’ Foundation asked fans not to buy season tickets as well.

I personally prefer protests over boycotts, but I think to say someone who boycotts a game isn't a real fan is harsh, unfair, and untrue.

I come from there more depressed than when I went in, its only catching up with mates watching the club that I go for. Long given up on any sort of stability, its like riding the crazy train these days. Have we seen worst....I dont know if I have, at least there used to be a bit of dog about us, now opposing players get away with taking the piss out of us and no one says or does anything. It would have been nice for someone to have clattered into Madine Saturday but he got away with it totally.
