Mark Hudson has revealed that former Cardiff City striker and Blackpool goalscorer Gary Madine said he was out to "do" Perry Ng prior to his stamp on the Bluebirds defender in the second half.

Madine scored the equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Blackpool, but 15 minutes prior to that he caused a fracas on the pitch when his late tackle prompted the Cardiff players to rush over and demand that he saw red for the challenge.

He escaped with a yellow and ultimately scored the goal which snatched two points away from Cardiff. And Hudson said he heard Madine at half-time say he was out to try and hurt Ng in the second half.


"I'm disappointed with the fact the guy who scored their goal shouldn't be on the pitch," Hudson said.

"It's pre-meditated. He said it at half-time. So we warned the ref. We warned the fourth official. He said it out loud that he was going to go out and do that. They were aware of it and it's clear as day. It's a stamp."



Asked to explain further what was said by Madine at half-time, Hudson added: "[Madine] said he was going to go out and do Perry. Because there was a coming-together in the first half. He felt that was the way he wanted to go about it and he has gone out and done exactly what he said he was going to do.

"It's a stamp. It's a leg-breaker. If he gets his left planted in the floor, it's snapping his leg. I watched it from four or five different angles, but you don't need to. You can see it live. Pre-meditated and he hunted him down."

All pundits say it was red card! Probably sums up this season several poor decisions by refs make a difference to games .... doesn't take away from the fact didn't score more? but cant say it didnt effect score as he shouldn't been on pitch to score.. and with 10 men tactics change..
