Ref was dire but don't make him a scapegoat.
22 other Champ sides would have put poor Blackpool away. They looked every inch the side who spent last night at Cardiff Gate Travelodge.

We were pickpocketed by a shockingly poor side.
We are starting to play some good stuff and always looked a threat going forward but the truth is that we are susceptible to any ball hoofed up to a big lump up front. That is all Blackpool did and it’s not the first time we’ve struggled defensively against these tactics. We’re crying out for a for Sean Morrison in the heart of our defence. We haven’t got that nasty streak that all teams should have in their locker when needed. I saw two players sh!t out of 50/50 challenges today and that is not good enough. I sensed that Blackpool saw our soft underbelly and Annis you are right, they were left to get away with it by an awful ref but as you say, we have to be more savvy.
Even sides like Man City and Barcelona can play nasty when they need to.

Cant blame ref for score but can blame him for refusing clear penalty and for refusing to send madine off for a deliberate stamp that ref was warned that madine was out to do NG. Both situations would have changed game if ref had balls to do what he is on the pitch for? To make right decisions

I see the point but the margins are so fine at the moment.
We all hoped that when we scored we could underline our dominance of the game by extending our lead but when we are scoring so few goals we are at the mercy of the sort of incompetent refereeing we see in the Championship.
Having worked hard to get a lead and protecting it quite well we are robbed of two points due to a goal being scored by a player who by every interpretation of the rules should not have been on the pitch to score it and whose team should have been down to ten men.
And let's not forget our friend Bobby Madley who deprived us of a point due to his incompetence against Coventry by deciding he had a better view of Callum Robinson's goal then his linesman and then apparently apologised later when he realised he was wrong.
There's three points "earned" that have we've been deprived of by shocking officiating. Now you might quite reasonably say that last week we got away with one with Kipre's challenge at Stoke but how about the foul on Robinson today for which he got booked when he should have got a penalty and another shit decison to send off Simpson at QPR which effectively ended any chance we had of getting anything from that game.
It's certainly not due to referees that we are struggling at the moment but they've certainly played a part.

Let's be honest here, some of the referees are inconsistent but none of them are biased toward a particular team. The only biased party are the fans, and the teams that lose focus on the inconsistent decision that they feel went against them.
The naive "playing the right way" mindset has brought this on. You need to earn the right to play but we forgot this as good footballers who are decent athletes cost a lot more than good athletes who are poorer footballers or undersized good footballers. The Jacks are the exception but they have bought into the footballer-first philosophy for over a decade.
The NG experiment is all that is wrong. We just about got away with him as a center-half in a 3 but as a pair he leaves us wide open and the manager continues with it.
We are not going to outclass, outpass, outthink, overpower or outfight any championship team. We need at least one of those categories to survive, the cheaper teams recruit committed athletes and play to a system. We are in a fantasy land where we could become Barca with free transfers.

This Ref is known to be week youngest ref in league not long upgraded to Championship games needs to be sent back. He's a right arrogant little man could very well drag down refereeing standard to a worse state as it is at the moment. Rerlfs are to well protected can't say boo to them all little dictators and slowly ruining the game. VAR are showing week in week out what mistakes they make. Bad decisions can cost teams points even relegation also Managers their jobs and all they get is a slapped wrist it's a joke.

We can blame the ref in this game for the not winning the this game However even if we had a ref who was excellent we still played poorly against a team missing 8 players and below us in the league

He was drunk I think, that was a penalty all day long?
Still, we should have been four nil up at half time our play was good first half, but the finishing was terrible, the referee did cost us two points though.

You’re right we can’t keep blaming referees for the overall situation. But having the referees association apologising for 2 seriously poor officials, shows how unlucky or badly treated we’ve been (use your own interpretation ) and the awful display of refereeing on Saturday and it isn’t helping. Incorrectly Disallowed goals and red cards have affected at least three results to the degree where they have cost us points.
But I suppose we have to suck it up and crack on.
