CARDIFF TODAY PLAYED WITH THREE STRIKERS UPFRONT & STILL COULD NOT BEAT ONE OF THE WORST SIDES IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP & AT HOME.

Cardiff have now only won 2 games in their last 10 games under Mark Hudson

2pts dropped once again.

Todays match took the season to exactly half-way: And Sadly Cardiff are just hovering above the bottom 3 in the Championship.


AND WITH CARDIFF NOW UNDER A 3 WINDOW TRANSFER EMBARGO, CITY NOW NEED EVERY POINT ASAP

But Mark Hudson has stated twice in the last week that City have a big squad , full of quality.



Blackpool arrived today with 8 first team players out injured.

Blackpool who were 2nd from bottom and had not won for more than 5 games, had also lost 4 of those games.

The Bluebirds had won just two in their last nine matches and are in desperate need of three points against Blackpool



FIRST-HALF: The majority of the half has been all Cardiff City.


City created many chances without actually making the Blackpool goalkeeper making many saves.

Really not looking good at all

Like I've said many times even before a ball was kicked this season looking at the squad on paper we will struggle and be in a battle to stay up. This game is just another that's convinced me even more tbh. Your only as good as the team & squad & manager and currently we are on the cheap but we all know this and whats going on at the club

A battle to stay up a certainty now.

Game should have been put to bed in the first half. Cutting edge/decision making around the box let us down again.

Haven't seen any replys but did Robinson dive? Should madine have been on the pitch?

I thought Philogene was way off the pace

Should’ve had the game won by half time. Completely different feel in the 2nd half. Clearly short of confidence. Blackpool more positive and winning all the second balls. Concerning.

Annoying thing is we could of gone in 3 nil up, so many shits at the keeper or wide. Said to my mate Blackpool will score from the head, we just cannot defend the high ball this season

It was a hugely disappointing result but I didn't think we played badly today, Hudson went for an attacking line up and we deserved our lead. Etete again was a real positive, looked a threat and took his goal really well. We should have killed the game in the first half. From the last two games we have had two really good halves. Yes, we haven't won but at least we have picked up points against relegation rivals rather than losing like the Hull game. Its bleak but not totally desperate yet and at least we wont be in the bottom 3 on Xmas day. Maybe after Boxing day though as that's always a guaranteed defeat! When was the last time we actually won a game on Boxing day!?

The lack of a big centre half, keeper not coming for long balls in the box is costing us.
As is piss poor chance taking.
Plus side the new coach sees to be having an effect. We'll in the first half if not the second.
Not sure what Ramasat's role is.
Does, anyone know if we can recall McGinnuess?

I thought Philogene was way off the pace

He did far more than Harris or Whyte imo, neither of whom are championship standard.
