‘ Huddersfield Town ‘

Wed Dec 14, 2022 4:36 pm

A good friend of mine who has been a season ticket holder for Huddersfield Town for 30 plus yrs said to me this morning:

“I just don’t see how Huddersfield will stay up”

“The squad is simply not good enough, no money spent and no investment for a long time, so you get a club that will only go one way down.”

“Huddersfield are rock bottom of the Championship and deserved to be.”

That’s a bit of good news for us, hopefully one less club to worry about

On a serious note this is the kind of club tan referred to other day ..... last season they were in playoffs without spending money but as I have said on several occasions it can also lead to relegation and this kind of proves point..... may escape this season with his austerity measures but next season??

They had a brilliant manager Allan.

As some one said the other day, where are 6 of our last 7 managers, still unemployed, we only bring in Cheap and inexperienced managers .
Tan in my opinion is clueless on football

Yes and they got rid of him at 1st sign of problems but it showed what a decent manager can achieve with limited resources.... but agree about citys managers tbh if we had decent manager the team we have is more than capable of being top 6 we are just wasting the playing talent we have..

I do agree we have a lot of good players Allan, but you keep forgetting , not just do we need a good manager , but we have been missing a quality striker.

Yes very true but dont always need one if the team contribute to the goals? Think highest scorers in league as 9 goals Robinson got 4... we are low down in goals scored but if had scored another 7 we would be amongst a lot of teams such fine margins..
