Wales' old guard. Age and caps.

Gareth Bale - 33, 111
Aaron Ramsey - 31, 78
Joe Allen - 32, 74
Wayne Hennessey - 35, 108
Chris Gunter - 33, 109

Three tournaments, 480 caps and great servants. This group have gone above and beyond anything achieved before so deserve respect.

Totally Agree Annis, great servants and all have massively helped us to qualify for the 3 major tournaments.

Their ages are not too prohibitive, even Hennessey as he's a keeper. However, if they are not getting regular game time, that is a massive issue. At that age you need to be playing most weeks to sustain a level of performance. :bluebird:

Jim, if they can play regular before next March , then we will see them playing well again.

Every Saturday would be ideal can miss midweek games the training would be more than sufficient for fitness.. got to be better than MLS..

Agree with TheHangedMan here.

Personally dont see it BUT! Its bale and his comments that started last cuffufle... same thing now like said two different outlets got two different quotes both suggesting he is thinking about his future at LA? I've said before LA is not best place to be fit to continue with wales the ball is literally in his court.

There are a few more players 29 years or above from that squad - who might not see another world cup .
