100% agree with this.
Good points:
Nice fella
Seems quite popular with the players
Passionate Welshman (Valley boy)
Took over in a difficult situation
Bad points:
Tactically naive, unable to change a game - wrong tactics in all 3 WC games (embarassing)
Hasn't brought any youngsters through
Not sure he has a proper long term plan
My opinion:
Wouldn't trust him to get us through in the next campaign (I think we would go backwards)
Sadly FAW short sightedly gave him a long term contract.
Steve Cooper would be my man to take us to the next Euros

Agree ….too defensive and not enough tactical nous

So you expected Page to play youngsters at the World Cup rather than the experienced players who got the team there? Whoever was in charge tonight faced a virtually impossible task. England can potentially win this tournament and their reserves could probably beat Wales. Be proud of the team, take it on the chin and stop blaming Page.

Page has just said we where brilliant first half?
We never had a shot on goal in 45 mins

Clearly not popular with players considering that’s twice in a row they’ve given up immediately after conceding and then conceded again.
Add Ramsey storming off against Iran without shaking his hand and whispers that the players were the ones asking to play a more attacking formation this game suggests they have no respect for him.
Can’t blame them imagine being Bale or Ramsey and having a guy who failed at Northampton Town try to tell you what to do

Bit sad at the moment, so I have no wish to slag off Page as he seems like a decent bloke. For me, our World Cup was lost against Iran when he picked the same midfield that failed against USA.
In all honesty, the English were odds on to beat us.
That said, my criticism of Page tonight is that he played an unfit Bale for 21/2 games. He was only taken off at his own request cos he had a hamstring strain. Watch the first half again and see that most of the time we didn’t have the ball and Bale was unable to close down his opposite number.
Imo it would have been better to give 1/2 game to Ramsey and 1/2 game to Bale and tell them to go for it for 45 mins. Oh well..,..

I am saying that imho he played the wrong team / midfield against USA and then repeated the mistake against Iran. Against young energetic teams you cannot carry 2 players plus Wilson who isnot hard working enough for me. I believe that his belief that Bale and Ramsey should start both matches was wrong.
I think that he has a 4 year contract. I am happy to give him some more time to see how he rebuilds, but I think he made some key mistakes in the WC campaign.

The bit about players asking to play more attacking game was mentioned on bbc tonight so must assume theres some truth in it. Funny enough been saying playing to defensively going back at least a year? We gave got the players to play an expansive game but he relays on the pace to counter attack but! Problem with that is we played with two very unfit players so restricting our ability to counter attack.... will he change mmm not confident he will... bale Rambo not finished just yet but they both need to do something about getting proper game time and fitness.... otherwise we wont progress with pages tactics

Given a four year contract two months ago. So we shall see.

Gone from a team playing good football with giggs and blooding young players into the team, and now a team that has aged and are still relying on the likes of joe Allen who can’t Evan get in the Swansea team and bale and Ramsey in all honesty at this time in their careers are impact subs at best

I will never forgive Page for his decision after Hennessey's sending off.
We finished the Iran game playing a 4-1-4 formation, with Joe Allen isolated as our only midfielder expected to cover everywhere.
Page left us wide open with ONE midfielder on the pitch against a team with a man extra. Page cost us the match which threw us out of the world cup.
Not even a Sunday League manager would select a side and formation with only one midfielder for any period of a game.

Steve Cooper wouldn't manage Wales when he's an up n coming manager in the Prem. You're dreaming. All these "Page Out" posters are deluded. England have a very good side atm and are genuine contenders for the World Cup. Iran are a very good nation. Page is unlucky that his best players were coming into the tournament with dubious fitness levels and ageing legs.

No idea what your talking about. Page has took this team into the world cup in 64 years and you want him to go??? Our run in the world cup was not a success but this is just a step towards bigger things in the future. Bale is a bit of a mystery in terms of his future but we got a solid team overall full of youngsters like Dan James, Joe Roden, Harry Wilson, Brandon Johnson amongst many others.
So I see our journey only continuing to improve year after year with more youngsters like Colwill coming into the team game after game. I trust everything Page has done and continue to do going forwards.

Most pushed through by giggs page is not the future end of he had his chance and made a hash of it and addmitted it he got it wrong against usa iran was a now show which should have been our final to go for
And england we stayed in our own half for 45 muns ans page thought that was a goid first half
Shocking.
