Portugal vs Uruguay World Cup match stopped as fan invades pitch with rainbow flag
Portugal's World Cup clash with Uruguay was briefly halted after a fan carrying a rainbow flag ran onto the pitch.
The incident happened just after half-time, and shortly before Bruno Fernandes had given Portugal the lead at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.
As well as a rainbow flag, the protester was also seemingly wearing a T-shirt with the message “Save Ukraine” on the front, and “Respect for Iranian Women” on the back.
