Jacks in Canton yesterday....

Sat Nov 26, 2022 10:58 am

I had to pop into Canton yesterday and was wearing a Cardiff coat.4 boys came out of the Canton Arms and started singing "mind the gap Cardiff City"song....I just smiled as I passed them.. didn't think too much of it.Then they started singing anti Cardiff songs... wound me up a bit , not going to lie,and they were loving it...

Opposite the Corp.. they left the Canton Arms..gave me a bit of abuse then went across the road towards the Butcher's Arms....They were all wearing Wales gear and bucket hats... they were well oiled and obviously the pubs must hanve been quiet.....it was about 1.45 pm .I had an important meeting at a solicitor s up the road and went into it quite rattled. ...

Spoke to someone this morning who was in city centre for the match and he said it was rammed - like 6 nations game. I’d imagine Canton to be pretty busy in pubs. Ps. I would have given stick back mate. :ayatollah:

The Canton Arms pub is on the same side as the Corp. Across the small road.... come on guys........ Also I was with the Mrs...when they started singing the Doris Day ...when I was just a little boy.... Song I was about 20 yards away and it hit a nerve with me I stopped turned around and started walking back towards them but my Mrs was holding on to me and telling me to grow up....
