Sheffield Wednesday to discuss permanent transfer of Mark McGuinness with Cardiff City
Sheffield Wednesday are interested in making the loan move of in-form defender Mark McGuinness permanent and intend to hold discussions with his parent club Cardiff City to explore the possibility of a deal.
Darren Moore wants to sign Mark McGuinness permanently.
When asked, he told the Sheffield Star: “Yeah we’ll have a look at that. We’ve got to respect the parameters of the deal, but let’s have a look.
“Hopefully we can do, but we’ll have some talks.”

Seems like he’s doing very well for them but for us imo he had too many mistakes in him, certainly to displace any of first 3 choices. (Kipre, NG, Simpson).
With Morrison being offered a contract there’s plenty of cover now though I would have preferred him to Nelson.

The idea is to give him experience. His first first-team experience in the championship was pretty brutal, especially for a centre half. He had a taster then dropped down to L1, perfect.

Good point. Rather him than Nelson.
