Was thinking similar ...this is the sort thing that will get you arrested totally disrespectful of their culture... a week in their jail do them good then deportation

I have some sympathy for that comment. When will the Brits Abroad Brigade learn that they simply cannot do what they want when they want in another country?

Our country may be 'soft' on loutish behaviour but other countries aren't (not just Arab or Muslim)

Agree with them or not, the Draconian Qatari Laws are not a secret and respecting their Laws, culture and traditions is the minimum requirement when travelling there

Hopefully a short sharp shock for the choirboys and some lessons learned

We did that and it was amazing.

However we were on our best behaviour as it was our first one I think. There were idiots who got shouted down by other fans when they did some of the loutish behaviour England fans are famous for.

We have quite a large knobhead contingent who follow the City and they would act up should these tournament visits become common place as they are for English fans I think.

I’d love to be proved wrong though.
