When you consider around 40 Premier League players go to AFCON without games getting postponed.

Just chucking it out there. Thoughts?

Maybe it's to do with players that are likely to go are teams best players so putting them at disadvantaged? Yes I know ours are not in that bracket but such a decision was made long time ago.. but personally dont think it should have resulted in the league being stopped regardless of who went.

We wouldn't miss Harris or Colwill if we had continued. Colwill is an enigma and not made any contribution this season do far.

That’s a good piece of info and research there. And would indicate it’s not enough to cancel fixtures. At least fixtures start again before the PL when there will be even fewer players left in the later stages. And Harris and Colwill still will be.
