I would suggest he’s slating Malky rather than supporting Tan.

Malky was very much supported financially and overspent ridiculously.

Did pretty well first season (not as well as Dave Jones) then second season did what he should do with the amount of money he spent on top of the nucleus of the squad he inherited from DJ. Imagine DJ had proper money.

He was found out in the premier league and we were heading one way despite spending lots of money.

Ole was awful but was taken on by Man Utd unlike Malky who hasn’t gone on to bigger and better things.

No manager could have helped Wigan so how Malky can be blamed for that I dont know and he does work in Scotland and is happy as the Scottish ignore Tan as most should he is a bitter man who is full of himself and sadly can ruin 1 thing in the UK and that is the club we love and he is ruining our club.

His last interview he is still blaming Malky Warnock or anyone bar himself a horrible man and I so wish he would feck off from our club as he is full of shi-e we will never good with him he has not got a clue if he likes it or not we got promoted by Malky and Warnock and a fa cup final because of Dave Jones and a league cup final for Malky Not Tan or Ridsdale it wasa the managers as the players wanted to play for them not Tan

Watford fans did not like the style of football. Mackay left and his assistant, Sean Dyche, took over and we all know who has had the best career as a manager !!

Mackay was one of the best City managers ever. I agree. However, he also had the biggest budget of any Cardiff manager in history, fact.

Dave Jones would have loved to have had half of his budget for a season.

I think you’re forgetting how good a squad Mackay inherited ! The players and fans hated him, he failed. The only reason I mentioned Wigan was because Forever Blue alluded to Tan being the reason why Mackay failed at Wigan which is absolute nonsense.

At Watford the real brains was the assistant manager, a certain Sean Dyche.

Tellingly Dyche turned down Mackay’s invitation to join him down here. He knew how important he was.

Dyche went on to do better with the same Watford team as Mackay had and did even better on a pretty mediocre budget, initially, at Burnley.
