My arse!
Giving out tops to the England team and wishing them all the best …. “The whole country is behind you.”
We need to ditch the Prince of Wales title.

Exactly. Also it was mentioned on BBC Breakfast but the sports reporter just presented it as if it was normal. In fairness Sally Nugent (presenter) said it seemed odd the Prince of Wales going to the English team presenting them all with their shirts and saying he wanted them to know that the whole nation was behind them.

I guess the BBC then realized that it didnt look good and there is no coverage of it on the national news.P*ss poor if you ask me. Prince of Wales 5 mins and then shows his true colours. We din’t need a title the Prince of Wales, especially as it was originally created as an insult to Wales.

Then they wonder why lots of Welsh and Scots don’t want to see England do well. :banghead: :banghead: :bluebird:

wales has been for years
Its the drip feed thing psychologicaly
wales are always last
And the b.ll.cks they england

"WHY" Change it up a bit we are all part of the uk it does' nt have to be always england first in every bloody thing even the weather.

We never asked for an english prince and should never have had one imposed on us.

Wonder if the English asked for the Welsh Tudors to run their country.

Come off it, the monarchy don't rule us, they are just figure heads that drive massive amounts of money into the economy through tourism and brand britain built on history. They don't decide anything.

The biggest downfall for Welsh independence all those years ago was the Welsh Lords and kingdoms themselves, the English just let them get on with it and then jumped in when it suited them.

No-one complained when Diana used to do her charity work here.. I’d get shot of the WAG before the POW.

Some iffey history on this thread.
But no one has said they think it was right or sensible for “the (alleged) Prince of Wales” to support another country.
Any way enough of the past, looking to the future…. Lets get behind the boys on Monday. First and foremost the Welsh lads against the USA, but also the Iranian lads in the afternoon. :bluebird:

The monarchy don't rule us they're figure heads, as is the title prince of Wales, everywhere he goes Wales is mention... A good thing.

The Welsh assembly is a waste of time, costs tens of not hundreds of millions to run every year.

Welsh independence is not viable, an economy is based on tax income... There's not enough.
