Mark Hudson Appointed First Team Manager after11 games in charge of the first team.

We’re pleased to confirm that following an interim spell in charge, Mark Hudson has been appointed Cardiff City First Team Manager on a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season.




MARK HUDSON:

“I’d like to take the opportunity of thanking Tan Sri Vincent and the Board for putting their faith in me and my backroom team. I’d also like to thank the City fans for their support, as passionate and committed as I always remembered them being during my time as a player.

“It’s an honour to be back here as Manager and I’ll be doing my utmost to take this Club forward, as I always have.”




Tom Ramasut will continue in his post as Assistant Manager, alongside newly appointed First Team Coach Dean Whitehead and Goalkeeping Coach, Graham Stack.

Ned what's point of end season Unless there is something in pipeline regarding tan? There was a group of men at game with ken on Saturday which is unusual! .... normally I have optimism before any season starts as always different from ladr one but unless something drastic and strange happens next season if still in championship is looking bleak even for me...

To be honest - anyone who had those stats would not usually be offered the job.

I love Huds but no championship club would take him as a manager!

Is this the plan he was talking about? If it is it's a very strange and short term plan? Nothing what as been said by tan or hudson is adding up ..

I'm pleased Mark Hudson. Has been given the chance. So many asking for a more experienced Manager they mean one who has had a few clubs and sacked by all of them good choice that would be. I'm fed up of hearing criticism from our so called football pundits of the owner. If they think they could do better then form a consortium and buy the club and put their money where their mouth is. The owner I expect will sell at the right price when he is ready. So give the Manager a chance and your mouths a break.

Hopefully, but my worry then would be (worst case scenario) if he’s backed and things don’t improve, that could leave us possibly looking for another manager with no windows left to change things. Let’s hope (best case scenario) he’s backed and things improve.
