My personal view following yesterday

Sun Nov 13, 2022 9:35 am

A lot questions come following our ongoing run of poor results.

Is Allsop our no1? Good with his feet but is he has a good has recent keepers we have had ? Personally I think he should have saved 2 of the goals Tues and yesterdays on the near post.

Niles? Where do I start? Definetly our weak link defensively ? Does any one have stats on how many goals we have conseeded on the left side of defense? - Bagan has to come in surely ? And can score goals

Romeo again great going forward but especially yesterday unable to cut out crossess. NG ?

Kipre - best defender we have by a country mile.

NG - love the guy but i think he suits right or left back position

Ralls - i think he has played better since injury and can play a bit. Also we missed his engery when he has not been in the team. Shame he does not have a right foot.

Wintle - class big miss when not in the team. Nits things nicely together. On a different planet to some in the team.

O'Dowda - nice neat player head seems to drop when we go a goal down.

Sang - like him needs more game time.

Harris - not sure if he the answer but better than watters. Should have scored yesterday. You have 2 feet and they are not just for walking on. One word Shoooooooot.

Robinson - better with him the side, but i dont think the majority of players are on the same wave length.

Colwill - has to play in the middle no pace not a winger. Not fit at the moment

Etete - bad buy ?

Nelson - let go in Jan

Ojo - talent but sxxt in a city shirt . What a dreadful performance Tues. Get rid of him in Jan

Rinomota - ok

Sawyers - wound me up Tues - Sxxt - get rid of him in Jan

Whyte - ok

Hudson - how can he be offered the job with such a poor record. Big concerns for our future going forward. I think he'll be out of a job by Jan. Hope im wrong.

Thoughts please!

Agree with Niels but you’re barking up the wrong tree if you think Bagan is any better defensively. There is a reason why Morison got Collins in and as soon as he got injured replaced him with Niels. Bagan doesn’t seem to have improved his defence from watching the U23s.

Personally for me the midfield 3 has to be Wintle, Rinomhota with Colwill slightly further forward. Just look at the results whilst Ralls was injured, it wasn’t the only factor but certainly played a part.

With Ralls back we move the ball too slowly and the wingers get doubled up on. Hudson needs to be brave and make some decisions that may upset a few people.

You missed out No37 Nkongkou , but i'll save you the bother - should never play in that position ever again. Responsible for the goal on tuesday and equally responsible yesrerday, just seemingly gives up once a player has gone past him and his positional play is nil.

Nkounkou is best LEFT BACK in dressing room.
How can you be a full back if you cant defend.
Saying that we have strikers who cant score.

Going to take a lot of luck to beat the drop this season we look doomed.

Can’t really argue with your comments. I watch Niels a lot and defending he’s so out of position and seems to be lacking attention. Allsop should never have been beaten at the near post like that. But as said, it’s the 2nd time in a couple of games.

Just a quick one. Who were the 2 piece band who were playing on big screen at half time?
