MY VIEW: CANT ANYMORE BLAME REFS OR BAD LUCK ANYMORE / CARDI

Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:52 pm

MY VIEW / OPINION:

CANT ANYMORE BLAME REFS OR BAD LUCK ANYMORE / CARDIFF'S FINISHING WAS AWFUL & THATS NOW ONLY 2 WINS FROM CARDIFF'S LAST 8 GAMES / 6PTS FROM 24PTS / SADLY RELEGATION FORM MR TAN / NOT PROMOTION FORM

THE FACTS ARE FOR THE LAST 9 MONTHS CARDIFF CITY OWNERS HAVE KNOWN WE NEED A QUALITY STRIKER.

CARDIFF ARE JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND THE LEAGUE TABLE DOES NOT LIE

Cardiff were so poor in the second-half, creating nothing

Dont forget Sheffield United were badly hit by injuries.

Cardiff over all were 2nd best in the 2nd half, mainly down to sloppiness and mistakes

Mark Hudson made Four changes - Kipré, Wintle, Sang and Harris came in.

City now go in to a break looking at the three clubs in the bottom very close behind them, Sadly i fear a relegation battle once again.

Mark Hudson should in my opinion only have been offered the job till Xmas only, as once again another manager with NO experience, but of course cheap

FIRST-HALF:Cardiff had no fear of United being near the top and if it was not for Cardiff's poor finishing would of been ahead, please City need a striker, yet Tan says he wants to see City in the Premier lol

Mark Harris had two chances to score including an open goal after United messed up in defence big time

SECOND-HALF: 64th min: We gave the ball away GOAL! Cardiff City 0-1 Sheffield United (Baldock 64) Baldock scores.
Nkounkou caught napping

Cardiff over all were 2nd best in the 2nd half, mainly down to sloppiness and mistakes.

CARDIFF CITY 0 SHEFFIELD UNITED 1
H-T 0-0

Crowd 18,700
Away Support 1,720

Cardiff City: Allsop; Romeo, Ng, Kipre, Nkounkou; Wintle, Ralls, Sang; O'Dowda, Robinson, Harris.

Subs: Alnwick, Nelson, Rinomhota, Whyte, Colwill, Ojo, Etete.

Another injury concern for Sheffield United, who already have a depleted squad. Jack Robinson went down off the ball, feeling his hamstring, Robinson off, Clark on.

32mins; Should of be ahead, Cardiff. Harris releases O'Dowda, who hits a fantastic cross right on to Robinson's head, but he steered it just wide of the post.

Mark Harris had two chances to score including an open goal after United messed up in defence big time.

Robinson hit one over the bar from 20 yards.

H-T 0-0

63rd min: Colwill on for Harris.

64th min: GOAL! Cardiff City 0-1 Sheffield United (Baldock 64)
Goal. Baldock scores.

Nkounkou caught napping with the ball and Baldock dispossesses him and drives it in at the near post.

71st MIN: Nkounkou off for Ojo.

Ralls off for Whyte.

77th min: Sang off, Rinomhota on.

Ojo in the last min, had an excellent chance to make it 1-1.

2 wins out of 8 simply aint good enough. Take that contract away from Hudson because this is genuinely relegation form and let's get someone in now during the break

Apart from being cheap .
I cant see any logic in giving Rock the job until the end of season

Re: MY VIEW: CANT ANYMORE BLAME REFS OR BAD LUCK ANYMORE / C

Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:59 pm

Absolutely ridiculous giving him the season, why why why???
Because he is cheap and Tan doesn't understand football.
We are in a mess and no doubt a dogfight to stay up.
What happens if we carry on this awful run, will he be sacked?

With a long period off- I don’t want the manager and players off on holiday. Treat it as pre season to get fit and start working together.

I agree that our finishing was poor and second half no idea what changed but we didn’t do a lot, but with that win they’ve gone top of the league, and just last week smashed Burnley 5-2 and could have been more.

We hung in there, could have snatched a point towards the end but in honesty, with the way the table was prior to the game and seeing them dismantle Burnley I was expecting a lot worse

Thought we played well, much better than midweek, but yet again nothing happening in the final third & unable to score despite quite a few chances.

Everybody is asking for an experienced manager, but lets face it whoever comes in has a substandard group to work with.
Most were players nobody else wanted and you can see why

Nkoukou has to go back to everton liability and gave them 3 points tan needs to spend on 2 strikers in the most miserable season in 10 years
start a season without a recognised striker and your f.ck.d and we are 1 point off the drop zone
happy f.ck.ng days thank god we have the world cup.

Let's hear the excuses for this week! Or is it that we have a squad of mostly rejects, freebies and piss poor management at all levels with insufficient funding. Let's get it over with and get relegated. :bluescarf:

Terrible 2nd half.

All I'm seeing or hearing from this squad is an immaturity. I was not impressed with the squad at the beginning of the season and now I'm seeing a weakness that was not expected. All I will say is we have lost our way.

We came into the season with a new plan but lets be honest, if was not working. Now we are trying another way and its clear to me thats not working. We just don't know what the best way is for us. What a mess.

We are going down. We dont draw enough games. We dont fight. Eleven defeats is already shocking. Felt sorry for Hudson during his first few weeks as he had bad luck. His record is dreadful now and dont see any logic to his appointment other than saving money. Tan is gradually destroying the club and everything positive of the last 20 years.

What worries me is that there is very little fight in this squad. I mean what happened second half? What did the manager say to them? Shocking mentality at home

Yep.

People are beginning to see we are in a mess. Some of us believe that at the start of the season but now more and more are believing it.

The worst City team I’ve seen in 20 years. A bunch of players who, let’s be honest, no other club wanted. No skill, no desire, no passion, managed by a manager who, quite frankly, is way out of his league. So there we are, and as for VT’s recent comments regarding having a plan and Play off aspiration’s,,,, then there we have a guy who lives in cloud cuckoo land…. Totally delusional.

Shame, first half we did so much right. Up till we get to the last 3rd we were miles better then Sheff..

For some reason, people dont want to cross or shoot. Really dont understand it. Robinson passed rather then shoot from the centre, Harris had an open goal. Romeo beat his man then rather then cross it tried to beat another and lost the ball, just all seem brain dead.

I thought we went back to 433 and passing it out from the back second half and we looked shit again, first half 442 seemed to be working well.

There no way we have shooting coaches or set peices. Throws ins are a f*cking joke, free kicks cant even get the ball in the air and corners we hit it way back past the far post

I knew what was coming before the first league game. Raised it vs Norwich then downhill. Your only as good as the squad as they say and we have a cheap below par squad that's the bottom line but I expected us to be where we are in the league and it will continue sadly in my opinion ian :ayatollah:

Let’s concentrate on the poor job the manager and the players are doing and try to offer some support and encouragement to them to try and get things better. Mr Tan is not directly responsible for the performance on the pitch, the manager and players are.

The annoying thing is that we aren’t a lot worse than most of the teams I’ve seen at the Cardiff City , with the exception of our ability to score goals ( essential I know). With the exception of the middle half hour against Watford, when they ran us ragged, we haven’t been badly outplayed at home. A new manager might help, but let’s think about who’s available and who can improve these players. If there is not a clear contender then let’s give Hudson some support ( and a couple of strikers in January)
