UPDATED:
Sean Morrison is back training with Cardiff City and could play for the under-21s as soon as Monday (vs Birmingham City).
This is good news as Cardiff are missing a leader, good defender and a hard man. Let’s hope it’s a decent contract

He's got the right attitude. Some of our younger injured players, seem to take ages to recover from injury.

Great news if it comes off.
Just to have him in and around the first team will be a benefit.
Hopefully he recovers enough to play regularly.

Could release NG to play at fullback, good in both boxes, and could add to goals for and take a few away from goals against.
Great news Morrison, get back playing soon

Excellent news adds a lot of experience to the team

PS. only 31

i've been saying this, offer him a short term deal, with the club having an option for an extra year. this, gives him time to get back to his best, and us some protection if he does come back better. put him next to Kipre, put Ng on the left

Get the Plymuff boy back on the pitch.

Not sure if this is a good idea smacks a bit of desperation if I’m honest
However, he has very rarely let us down in the past so let’s hope he can get back to the form he was in a few years ago

What he lacks in legs he makes up for in leadership determination mettle and effective in both boxes.
He’s also imho a better defender than all but kipre and doesn’t require locating negotiations and having a gamble on.

I think Kipre is very much like Sol, he can be the primary or attacking centre half but prefers to drop off so SM will be an upgrade, we are not really a passing team, we are just not 100% direct. SM will be fine

Sean Morrison is exactly what our defence needs, his experience would be vital to us.
He's a top bloke to, met him and his wife personally on a night out and they were both really down to earth, although his Mrs was a bit mad

He shits where he wants!

Good news that's he's recovered. Can't knock his commitment to the club. I really like Morrison but not sure how he fits into a team that is trying to play it out from the back more though. He seemed to be a yard off the pace before his injury so I doubt that would have improved after a lengthy time out. His presence in both boxes would be a massive bonus mind. If there was serious interest in Nelson, I'd sell in Jan and be happy with Simpson, morrison and Denham as backup.

This is just the pick up that's needed. I always thought it was more than just an accident that the No4 shirt was left unfilled at the start of the season. a back 4 of Romeo - Kipre - Mosser - NG would be as good as it gets. Then with a midfield of Wintle - O'dowda -Rinomhota - Colwill - Philogene with Robinson up top. That team has the capacity to climb this league and who knows where that would put us after the World Cup Break.

Tonight showed we need someone like him in the team, we have 0 leadership atm to rally the players.

I dont think he'll be fast enough for the championship these days.

Could a do job for a League 1 team (that may be us next season). He may surprise us all and come back fitter, stronger and leaner - that would be great - but somehow doubtful. It's not the back of the team we need to worry about - with nowt up top we are sunk.

We need him for our corners

Be great to have him back on the pitch
Sun Nov 13, 2022 8:18 pm
Play him up front
