Why do people think because get to premier league club makes 100m or so? As one manager pointed out one dept went from 2 staff to 100 because they were promoted to premier league ...... can safely say most depts in a club gets bigger when in premier league what pays for the expansion the owner?? Yes make money but far less than its led to believe on here unless your a big club to start with.

Yep, the £100m is turnover and comes with increased costs against it, and is not a net injection of cash. Sadly warnock did waste £30m minimum of it on transfer fees that ran down to nil, plus the related wages. But we are where we are and can only go from here.

To be honest I don’t really blame him for being stingy given he backed Malky, backed an “up and coming” manager in Solskjaer and also backed an experienced manager in Warnock to no real success

Warnock wasted money on poor transfers there’s no denying that but he also got us up into the Premier League on a shoestring budget with a bunch of freebies and cast offs who he moulded into winning team

Can you think of any other Manager capable of doing that?? So Tan was hardly conned was he??
