Lack of

BACKBONE.
Without Cipre and Wintle who are solid wholehearted and quite skilful, we looked a relegation outfit.

It is vital we get them back and then I feel we will be ok (ie clear of relegation).
Tonight we were absolutely dreadful in the first half.

Sawyers Romeo and Ojo were half hearted and not at the races. We could have been easily 2 or 3 down at half time.
At least players like Harris Whyte and Nelson (although limited in ability) put in effort!!

Neither full back makes much attempt to stop crosses and Sawyers and Nkoudkou are basically poor defensively. Sawyers continued to be lazy until (correctly) subbed. Additioally we have no aerial threat and rely on Cipre for defensive headers. Also Is Etete that bad that he dosnt even get a kick? (Even Watters gets given minutes!).

I won’t judge Hudson yet…. But I felt we would be safe with Morrison at the helm.
PLEASE COME BACK CIPRE AND WINTLE :bluebird: :bluebird:

PS Tonight is a night to call out SOME PLAYERS for lack of effort and spirit, rather than Mark Hudson or Vuncent Tan. :sleepy2:
If they had tried as hard as (a poor) Hull team we would have won. Sinple as! :bluebird:

I don't think it necessarily effort with them, i just think Sawyers wasn't blessed with pace but his legs have gone and against young fit, athletes he looks like an old man playing with a group of teenagers.

Ojo is so left footed I am surprised he just doesn't run around in circles, so he needs to flick it onto his left but we bloody well play him on the right and he loses the ball too often.

Shit recruitment and we got them for another season and half !!!!!!!!! but shit selection as well
