Permanent manager by end of week?

Good question. We are working hard together. Everyone is driving the right direction. That’s all we can ask. We will try and play with the same vigour and intensity this week.

Hudson
would give him till January 1st if we're mid table and would then give it till end of season .

We need to break the cycle and get a Director of Football.

Hudson is the first team coach and has his team but someone else runs the club. Watford proves that coaches are expendable as the owners run the club, ours doesn't.

Steven McPhail could run a club and report directly to the owner, its bat shit crazy we don't get someone in Vinny trusts.

I can only think VTs resistance to appointing the vital position of DoF is because he got burned with Moody. I also get the feeling from MDs comments about 'wild west' agent behaviour, especially with Sala, has made him even more wary of football business dealings and appointing someone he can trust, hence MD effectively doing the role (and badly).

A DoF should have been a week one strategic board appointment 10 years ago, if it has happened, even later, I believe we would be in a very different place now. If VT is not going to sell, he needs to make this happen and if/when we get a new owner, they need to make it happen too.
