Yep your only as good as the players around you and how the team are playing. Although watters wouldn't make some Sunday league sides in my opinion but that's what we got to go with

I thought we played really well for 40 mins, then Hudson went negative with very poor decisions. Howver, I totally agreed with dragging Watters off - he didnt do the minimum you would expect.

Watters should never play again in the Cardiff shirt. Not because of his clear lack of ability at this level, but because of his obvious lack of effort. In football, as in life, its understandible that you can try hard and not achieve what you want. But when you just cant be arsed then there is no excuse. He was jogging towards defenders and never really closing them down. For me, heis stealing a living.

Watching on Cardiff City TV after Watters and Sayers had been on for 10 minutes the commentator said they both looked legy. The word I would have used was lazy. Both of them could have been taken back off shear lack of effort.

I’m not sure why some supporters of this club take pleasure in trying to destroy some players on this forum.

If we look back over the years we have had a number of forwards who came to us and didn’t deliver for whatever reason and they all had the hell kicked out of them.

We couldn’t get strikers in this season if I were a striker and asked to come here I’d look at the fans forums and see the indiscriminate rubbish put out and think twice about coming and that’s certainly happened in the last window.

I don’t think any of our strikers have set the world alight but to constantly get at them doesn’t do their confidence any good or the moral within the team.

He's got good movement but not the decision making or physicality for the Championship. It's a shame and I wish the lad well but he needs to move back to league one where I think he can have a great career and be loved by some fans again. That's what he is missing,

Second time he has been taken off after about half an hour by 2 different managers due to “lack of effort“

The absolute minimum you expect from players is that they try their best…Watters didn’t so he can hardly complain about being substituted again

I wasn't able to watch the game today, I've been a supporter of Watters and was excited to hear he had been subbed on. I cannot comment on his performance, although if this is the second time he's had to be pulled due to a lack of effort, then it doesn't look good for him.

I'll reserve my judgment, considering I didn't see the game. However, it will be very telling if he's not in the squad Tuesday.

That's how I see it as well. I think he is crushed at the club and needs to be happy again, i am sure he is not this bad.

Wouldnt read too much into him being subbed off. Purely a time wasting exercise and he was obvious choice. Not saying I was overly impressed with him or sawyers. We looked far worse when they came on. At the time we needed more energy in there not less. Wrong time in game completely

Unfortunately for him he seems to be used when we've changed tactics? If been on from start maybe be different story but brought on when we dropped back had no attacking ambition except try breakaway this as been his story all the time... morison played him as loan striker or brought him on in last 10mins mainly yes hes played plenty of games but could play 100 games and not score in the set up he plays with... be interesting to see how many games Harris played on his own upfront? Take a guess at 0000 simply because he cant play on own neither can watters but hes expected to! He needs to go where manager utilises him better are managers certainly dont.

I will always support a player if they give one thing. Max today looked uninterested and wasn't giving his all for the shirt. Not doing basics like chasing back is not acceptable he had 30 mins and for me that's his last chance. James Crowle or another young player now
