Hopefully he'll be a better manager in League one than the championship then...

Granted the playing style has improved but take today as an example, I didn't go but from reading comments etc from people who have attended we were very lucky to get anything out of the game. There will be no money available to improve the squad whilst all around most likely will. The goals aren't exactly free flowing and considering Hudson has been with us all season albeit as a coach he will know these players inside out. If he's not been able to get a tune out of them goal scoring wise then there is only one way that the clu. Is going. Some decent results recently granted but I do feel that they have just papered over the cracks and as much as I'd love to eat my words (which I may well do) I can only see this situation ending one way sadly and that's us being in the relegation battle and potentially going down as I just don't see us having the fire power to drag ourselves away.
It's all well and good playing the good football but without the end product which were all looking for what else can we expect? Only my opinion of course. I'm sure we'd all love to sign a world beating manager but as alluded to elsewhere on the messageboards this appointment will be massively u derwhelming.

Lucky to get anything? We should’ve been 3 up at half time we deserved the win

Yes should of been but weren't, then people are saying that Sunderland were all over Cardiff as we sat back and invited pressure instead of going for a second goal. Hence me saying that from what I've read of today we were lucky to get anything

So when we should score but don't it's bad play/management etc
When Sunderland should score but don't it's luck on our part?
Did I get that right ?

No not at all, we're moving away from the main point here. Over the course of the season my personal opinion is that this will prove to be a poor appointment and will come back to bite us.
Granted I didn't make my point regarding the Sunderland game very well and of you dig into any number of other threads in the message boards regarding Hudson my view is the same as many others and I'm just recycling what others are saying/have said.
To take Sunderland as the example though. Yes we've won, Sunderland (from what I've read) should of got back into the game and potentially won. The poor management in my own pov comes from trying to shut up shop and inviting pressure when prior to that we were putting alot of pressure on them and should of gone for another goal to make ourselves more comfortable.
Against other teams (or even Sunderland) on another day it could of come back to bite us on the arse and at the moment when the table is as tight as it is and we are so perilously close to the RZ

Unfortunately you are right and we just seem to sit back once we've scored and go in to a shell. It's so apparent I'm surprised that none of the jurno;s have picked up on this and asked the question to Hudson though to be fair to him it seems to be a condition he's inherited with this group of players.
