Raíl strikes are cancelled due to talks! The weekend is trains available
Fri Nov 04, 2022 6:43 pm
To late for tomorrow.
Network Rail’s chief negotiator Tim Shoveller said.
“The very late notice means that services for tomorrow cannot be reinstated and will remain extremely limited, and while we, and our train company partners, will work without pause over the weekend, there will be limited ability to change the ‘strike timetable’ for Monday,”

they knew be to late.... just like they know striking on alternate days is same as being on strike every day for same reason... members must be running short of savings so want a settlement now... airport workers doing same striking on days fans leaving uk for world cup and funny enough Qatar airways worst hit.

I think the unions have found their trick - threaten to strike - then cancel at the last minute - so they still get paid and the company cant put the schedule back on.

Basically that's what happening..... companies have to plan for strikes so despite calling off action they still cannot run a proper service drivers get paid but dont do anything as no trains available to drive as in wrong place.
