A forum for all things Cardiff City

Cardiff City fans have hit out at Sky Sports for moving their festive fixtures against QPR and Blackburn Rovers in order for them to be broadcast live on TV.
Cardiff City will receive £150,000 for the home game and £30,000 for the away games of Sky.
The Bluebirds face QPR on Boxing Day and Rovers on New Year's Day during a typically hectic Christmas schedule. Both games were scheduled to kick-off in the typical 3pm slot, however Sky have moved both games as they have been selected for live coverage.
The match with QPR will now be moved to a 5.15pm slot on Boxing Day, a change which has disgruntled some but is certainly more palatable than the Rovers game, which is now a midday kick-off on New Year's Day.
It means Cardiff supporters will have to make the 420-mile round trip on January 1, a bank holiday, which will see them on the road for more than eight and a half hours if they wish to see the Bluebirds up at Ewood Park.
Christmas is a notoriously expensive time of year, too, plus with the UK currently in the grip of a cost-of-living crisis, many believe fans have not been taken into consideration before the fixture change was confirmed.
Fan account Bluebirds Past: "Blackburn away at 12pm on New Year's Day is an absolute joke."
Joshua Watson added: "Good to see Sky Sports have thought of the fans again. Midday kick off for Blackburn (a) on New Year's Day."
Jacob Price waded in with: "Blackburn away NYD, 12pm. If we take anything over 10 (fans) I’ll be impressed."
Bluebirds fan account Sloper Road Blues said: "@SkySports don’t care about the fans."
Ian Burnell wrote: "12pm in Blackburn on new years day that's horrific."

How long has this been going on, no point whinging on social media, hit them where it hurts refuse to go. Sooner these clubs, including our own realise they are not shafting us anymore then things may change. The 20 is plenty crusade turned into a damp squib and these clubs still charge outrageous prices so shite footballers can get big wages, particularly at our level.
If you dont want to go to Blackburn for a 12 kick off then dont go simple as that....what will you miss? Feck all
