The ground is cashless.
I use cashless and much prefer it but I wouldn’t throw my phone at anyone

Whilst what you say is undoubtedly true do you not think that the real answer is to identify and prosecute the persecutors rather than tar every travelling fan with the same brush.
You wouldn't close a library because a few individuals deface books, or make all customers stand outside a shop because a person shoplifts etc.
As for cashless, it certainly doesn't suit everyone and this relentless push towards it is both unnecessary and discriminatory.
Also Sunderland might help the situation themselves by changing the area in which away supporters are housed.
