But yet he still changed our badge and that was accepted with very little protest.
As for Mr Tan who was welcomed wholeheartedly at the start with fans turning up with Malaysian flags etc.
Don't get me wrong what he has done with the rebranding etc was appalling and something I was not a fan of, also the badge etc is ridiculous with the wriggly worm.
But if some fans had had the same affiliation with Tan as they did with Sam, would the hatred still be as strong amongst us.
Just a genuine question and looking for opinions.?

The Wrexham lads are doing well because of their fame and media knowhow, but there are very few positive cases. Football nowadays is so corporate, bland with accountants, analysts, and public relation department killing any spontaneity.
Sam couldn't happen again, it was the end of an era, IMO his vision was the downfall for many fans; the stadium !! Ninian Park was the end of that madness. It was primal, I am a law-abiding nice (model) citizen, but it brought the devil out in me. We were still behind the rest of the bigger championship clubs in terms of the modern world, but the CCS hit us with a large bang.
It coincided with the start of social media and a new type of fan. I would never have brought my daughter to NP. The tuts of disapproval would be heard all over the twitter-verse at some of Sams ideas, but we loved them.
I hope Sam doesn't come back because Sam should be a joyous part of our history, he was the defibrillator that kick-started our new lease of life. But it wouldn't be the same, the world has moved on and many would be disappointed.

Well mines to the name Cardiff City and I only want what’s best for my club, owners, managers and players come and go and we are Cardiff City the fans , the fans who still watch abd turn up no matter how bad things become.
Not the Premiership glory fans
For me it’s good to know your owners and for me Bob Grogan, Rick Wright and Sam Hammam have been the best we could ever want and were there when we were shit.

I am grateful to VT for keeping us afloat and the positive things he has done for the club. But is he prepared to fund us back to the Premier League football - Sadly I think not. We are in the bottom few of the 2nd tier. Kortrijk (his other club) is bottom of the Belgian League. I wont say there is a lack of investment as that would be unfair. He is keeping us afloat on a month by month basis. But I just dont think there is a willingness to spend on a structure to get us promoted.
Sam. I would love him back in charge. I believe he is someone who has the financial means to do it and more than that I believe we are the only club he supports.
