I`d like to make a realistic comment about what we can expect from our Welsh media whether it be TV/print or online.
Firstly just a statement when Alex Ferguson retired and wrote his autobiography it was ghost written with David Meek. David Meek was the Manchester United correspondent for The Manchester Evening News for over 25 years.
Alex Ferguson and most Premiership managers either ban certain journalists or certainly don`t take questions from ones that don`t toe the line.
You don`t need me to tell you the implications for journalists with regard to the above at any club.
At City, Glen Williams for instance has to produce whether he like it or not let's say 500 words a day and a few snippets each and every day for our consumption otherwise quite obviously papers are not bought and online advertising not read.
To do this each and every day he needs at the top level exclusives from the club. Transfer news, BOD info, change of kit, the managers thoughts on individual players, injuries, opposition, referee`s etc. Lower down throughout the season he may wish access to preseason, the groundsmans work, new floodlighting, promoting mascots, ticket pricing etc.
Simple truth is whilst most of these people are independent journalists working for a free press if Glen Williams regularly pissed Dalman off saying a lot of our new signings weren`t good enough, pushed the point that we should be debt free, the BOD don`t know anything about football, the way we appoint managers has been on the cheap and abysmal, when are the red seats going, Tan will never be forgiven for the rebrand, whatever you can criticise on, there would be minimal access to club stories and less copy.
It might work for a month but then when he wanted an angle on new stories, then the info and access would have dried up and he`d have to phone BBC Wales for an update.
That is why we get the stories from the club written the way they are, simple as that.

When Dalman and Co want their PR doing or shall we say bullshit, he writes it and that’s why some of these players brought in this summer were all made out to be amazing and bargains beyond.
Also the bullshit last season written about 10 of our Accademy players all being good enough for our first team( some were not even Accademy players) , how many actually start, but even get on the subs bench this season?
All this was done from above to Make out we need not need to buy new players and he writes it.
Honest journalism that’s all we want.
Terry Phillip and Rob Phillips were absolutely brilliant.
