MY VIEW: AS MARK HUDSON PROMISED CARDIFF TODAY

Sun Oct 23, 2022 12:54 pm

MY VIEW / OPINION:

AS HUDSON PROMISED CARDIFF PLAYERS SHOWED PASSION / DESIRE & FOUGHT LIKE TROJANS AGAINST A CHEATING SWANSEA TEAM WHO EXAGGERATED EVERY FOUL & MADE A MEAL OF EVERYTHING.

For me 10men Cardiff did fight and gave everything, but once again we’ve sadly lost.

But,Matt Grimes completed more passes than the ENTIRE Cardiff team today.

The Swans have won the last three derbies without Cardiff even scoring a goal

By the end of the second half Cardiff could of been hammered by more more goals.

VERY WORRYING THOUGH WE CANT KERP BLAMING REFS / CARDIFF ARE JUST NOT AS GOOD AS MANY FANS BELIEVE & THE HIERARCHY NEED TO MOVE OUT ASAP & ACCEPT ONE OF THE OFFERS.

Cardiff now have to look forward to a relegation battle once again.

FIRST-HALF: Robinson sent after only 6mins  for retaliation and so in my view right decision.

Kipre got a away with a total handball in the 35th min in the penalty area, good job No var.

After pressure: GOAL! Swansea City 1-0 Cardiff City (Cooper)

I thought Hudsons team gave everything and deserved to go in with a draw.

Another record against Cardiff 3 defeats in a row

SECOND-HALF:Harris came on at h-t replacing Ojo. Cardiff fought and fought.

The good news was Swansea missing two of their best players, Joe Allen who is vital for their midfield and their top striker Joel Piroe.

In the last six matches against Swansea , Cardiff had managed just one goal and lost five times. Thankfully for City fans, that one goal was Aden Flint's last year and it proved to be the winner down at the Liberty Stadium.

But once again we’ve lost, when will we ever learn as a club, not whilst we are owned by this regime.

SWANSEA CITY 2 CARDIFF CITY 0
H-T 1-0
Crowd: 19,817
Away Support 1,700

Cardiff City: Allsop; Sang, Nelson, Kipre, Nkounkou; Ralls, Wintle, Rinomhota, O'Dowda, Ojo, Robinson.

Subs: Alnwick, Simpson, Campbell, Sawyers, Whyte, Harris, Etete.

23mins: Tom Sang great shot, what a save.

GOAL! Swansea City 1-0 Cardiff City (Cooper)

Cundle fluffs his shot and Cooper pounces.

Gobbles up and steers the ball into the top corner.

Sadly Superb finish.

H-T 1-0

Second-half could of been a bigger score line for the Hacks.

83min: Sub for Cardiff as Etete comes on for O'Dowda.

Mark Harris yellow card.

Swansea finished on a high

Stupid red card ruined the game.

Offered nothing after the Sang effort.

Chasing shadows, no tackles. A real lack of fight for me.

Mr Tan needs to open his eyes and deal with the issues at this club immediately. Everything that is wrong is down to him, he can no longer hide from it.

Dock Callum Robertson his next 3 weeks wages and let that money work its way back to those supporters who were there today.

Fully deserved Swansea win, I didn’t expect anything less, I’m really starting to worry now, I can’t see us staying up at this rate, what do we need? Someone please tell me

100% - it’s shocking.

The folk turning up every week deserve so much better than this. Last time I was down, I almost didn’t go to the game because you know how dire it’s going to be. At least im the past, they’d go down with a fight.

it's quite a shallow squad with little real pace without any recognized decent coaches including the interim manager.

Tan's apathy has manifested its way to the pitch.

It took decades to get into the high teens for season tickets that will disappear rapidly next season unless we get some meaningful direction for the absent owner and directors.

Well done for keeping fighting lads that could have been a lot worse.

We were awful, let's be honest. Even with ten men, their goalkeeper made one save.

They could have won by more if they wanted.

But the stupidity of Callum Robinson was a crucial moment. People can blame the referee and say it's soft all they want but it was a stupid thing to do.

We did show a bit of fight but ultimately we got we deserved in this Derby.. Again.

Annis. Is Sam still interested in buying us? Because I'm through with Tan now. Our problems are never going to go away including the sala case until he sells. At least Sam gave a f**k about the club. Tan shows zero interest and I think most people have had enough now

I thought for the first 6 mins before sending off we looked up for it for the first time in ages. Believed we were going to compete. Sending off killed it as a contest. Wtf was he thinking, although could have been a yellow, ref shouldn't have been given the decision to make. Sheer stupidity.
I know there's going to be alot of pissed off people and I'm as annoyed as anyone but you can't judge Hudson on last 3 results. 2 games we've played 90 with 10 men then the onside offside goal

I think we would have given them a good close game today if it wasn’t for the red card.We started bright enough but it was always going to tell. Two games in five days both with a red card within the first 15mins bound to take its toll.
Ton Sang MOTM.

We just make too many mistakes, both on and off the ball. Both goals were gifted to them. Nkounkou's horrendous clearance for their first, Kipre leaving Obafemi free for their second. Basic mistakes from bad decisions and lapses in concentration.

Kipre only makes lots of last ditch headed clearances and blocks because he's frequently out of position in the first place.

Robinson is an experienced player and needs to be disciplined for his sheer stupidity costing us the game.

The only plus for me was I thought Tom Sang stepped in and had an excellent game, winning every one on one dual with their winger.

The result was guaranteed before a ball was even kicked. Swansea are the best team in Wales currently and we are an absolutely pathetic shell of a club. Tan has to go and relegation is pretty much certain too. Never felt so miserable and dejected by this club.

Looks like they had 13 shots to our 3 .... 6 on target to our one.... so that means for 84% possession they kept keep ball and for 711 passes they managed just 13 shots all game exce.... must he nice watching team pass 711 times and have 6 shots on target good job it was us they were playing .. :D

All those wanting Sam to be involved again be careful what you wish for. At least with Tan in charge we’re not threatened with winding up orders every other month
