Hudson: We will show Swansea what we are about
Mark Hudson has come out fighting following his side's 3-0 defeat by QPR, vowing that his side will put in a performance everyone will be "proud of" against Swansea City on Sunday.
The Bluebirds are coming off the back of two successive defeats and have a poor derby record when you look at the last three seasons. But Hudson insists form goes out the window when it comes to derby day.
Cardiff have a number of important players who are a doubt for this weekend, with Perry Ng the most recent following his injury at Loftus Road. Hudson was undeterred, though, and strident in his message to supporters.
MARK HUDSON:
"We will muster an XI and we will go there and put a performance together, which you will be proud of," he said after the game.
"I don't think you can look at form going into the game. It's important to us, we have spoken about it already. We will go there on Sunday, stick together and show them what we are about."

Agree. If it comes off, good on him; if we go down with a whimper…,

Sounds to me like it’s his last chance

Make or break for him I believe.

Maybe. If he’s been told ‘win or else’ he’s got nothing to lose saying this.

At least he's making the right noises for once. Personally I don't think Hudson is the answer but one thing is for sure he will be desperate to win Sunday and I think he will drum into the players how important this game is.
The fans also have a big part to play, our support has been poor against them in recent years.
Even when we were losing away in the lower divisions we'd still sing all game and opposition fans would always have good things to say about our support.
No one thinks we can win this, the media, our fans, their fans, the bookies so we have nothing to lose.

We are in a bit of bad form and have most of the defence out, Collins, Romeo, NG, I will be happy if we have a right go at them, but i'm expecting a loss by at least two goals.

Good job you ain't the manager. What do you want him to say? You've already said that we're going to get torn apart so should he say that instead? Have a day off you weapon.

Bloody hope so the table looks shocking at the moment i know there is not a lot between teams but looking at all those teams above us
It looks awful when you visually see us in 19th and look at the full length of the division table

I really like this from Hudson, not scared to put himself in the firing line and must believe he can get the players going and up for it.
Just hope he's right

I like him too. Hes certainly saying the right things unlike Morison 'Its just another game'. I desperately want to him to have some luck. We owed some. I think this is his cup final. A win and he will have broken the hoodoo and he will get the job but sadly I can only see defeat and a grim weekend with results all going against us today.

Uhm....... not much to be proud of today I'm afraid Mark.
Another abject performance against a Swansea side that were not only a better side than us but yet again seemed more up for it than we were.
Unless you count the aggression shown by our centre forward after six or so minutes.

Thanks Mark but time to go….definitely not up to the job I’m afraid
