A.S.A.P.
We seem to work better with this kind of manager.
Wed Oct 19, 2022 9:38 pm
we need to pay for a good experienced manager or we could be in trouble
Wed Oct 19, 2022 9:44 pm
That won’t happen, that I promise you.
Tan won’t pay, Tan wants out and and quality Managers won’t touch us now under Tan

It’s a gamble though Annis. Division 1 will mean the stock of the club decreases massively.

You’ve seen the last 4 yrs, running the club down every season abd smaller and smaller budget and managers chosen not on their strength but how cheap .

Good god here we go wilder mark hughes pulis i personally would like to see what a foreign manager could do with us
I am pleased we are not playing dinasour hoofball but we need a foreign manager with that style of play which would suite our present team and make us gel a spanish manager would be ideal
Or german farka etc.

Did we not have one in McCarthy?
McCarthy did ok with the squad he inherited. The following season he lost the likes of Wilson, brought in a few youngsters and soon lost his job.
Its ok bringing in an experienced manager but you need a good squad for him to work with. My honest opinion is no experienced manager will want to work with this squad. Like it or not but they are cast offs from other clubs. That might be a bit unfair tagging the likes of O'Dowda with that but that is the average player we have.

I personally don't know what or who is the answer. All I do know is the penalty and red card killed the game tonight. Was going to be tough with 11 but who knows what would have happened. That's the last 2 games that dodgy decisions have gone against us.
Our lucks got to change soon.
It wasn't too long ago alot were praising Hudson, let's see if he gets a tune out of them Sunday.

Just saw the goals on Itv and even Dean Ashton said it was not a penalty or red card and he hopes it gets rescinded. I watched it in slow slow motion and you can see both players have their arms across each other and when the QPR player can see he is not going to get the ball he throws his leg out to collide with Simpson and then collapses to the ground, conning the ref. Also would have collected the ball. Who knows what would have happened 11 v 11.

Totally agree with your thoughts on pen / red card and I suppose you never do know but we were getting the run around when it was 11v11.

I agree. What I mean is that Tan will be taking a hell of a gamble if he chooses cheap option as it would be catastrophic for him and the club if we did go down.
We need a foreign manager in pretty quickly imo.

Time for tan to decide what he wants to do either sell the club or get a proven manager in ASAP, farke, or Scott Parker, sort this out mr tan

I think they'll be both out of our league at present, though apparently we paid through the nose for McCarthy.

Good luck saying this to tan
we wont get a good enough manager until tan leaves
Thu Oct 20, 2022 5:17 pm
Why insist on an experienced Manager. They all have to learn their trade. What difference would one have done over the last few days bribed the refs. Give Mark Hudson a chance we can't win every match Its get rid of Tan get rid of the Manager always get rid of someone it's getting a joke.
Thu Oct 20, 2022 5:50 pm
I must be one of the few on here who thinks that Mark Hudson will make a good manager, but there again I am also one of the few who does not have a agenda against Tan, but believe that Dalman should be replaced, unfortunately with the debt we owe him I cannot see this happening

Time for a change - lets go overseas - how about the ex Wolves manager ?
Hudson isnt cutting it, lets be honest.

Do you honestly think he'd come here for a pittance and with a transfer budget of zero?
Never going to happen.

He's just spent money on refurbishing the entire squad, as well as almost 2 million on a striker.
Steven Gerrard anyone?

Maybe he can bring Coutinho with him as well.
What exactly would make the Cardiff City job appealing to a manager such as Steven Gerrard? The chance to work for a fraction of his previous wage? The chance to work for a knowledgeable owner? The zero transfer budget? The chance to work for a well organised, well run club?
Perhaps he'd be attracted by the fact that the owner is happy to give managers plenty of time to impose their philosophy.
Maybe he can't wait for the chance to turn Curtis Nelson into Tyrone Mings.
Perhaps he could be tempted by the prospect of fish and chips in Caroline Street and a flat overlooking the beach in Barry Island?

Yes, to all of the above.
Honestly, though, good points made. Although it'll be interesting to see if a Premier League club would want him after Villa.

If the Conservatives bring back Boris and we want a cheap option perhaps we can ask Morison back.

It’s not an experienced manager we want it’s the right manager. We missed out on new Managers Steve Cooper and Michael Beale and look where they are now! We went for experienced Managers Neil Warnock and Mick McCarthy and look at the mess they left us in! A lot on here wanted Wilder, what happened to him!

These comments are slightly (OK NOT SLIGHTLY) drug induced due to medical issues but we should have stuck with morison, they were his players and he obviously had a long term plan that was never given a real chance to gel, It's no good having a medium to long term plan in place and then sacking the mangers who has a plan after a few bad results, teams take time to hit their stride and gel together. would he still be here had Robinson not missed that penalty?
Feel free to direct the usual abuse from the usual culprits in my direction, anything that doesn't meet their crazy Tan out and managers they name that are never coming here in a million years agendas.

Keep taking the pills do you good...
The idea managers wont come here is nonsense but not aware of that many if any mentioned ever getting offered the job? I'm going by news outlets not what is said on here as it's more like a politicians convention truth wise...

but tan does need to offer a good experience younger manager a chance to take club forward and not hes cheap let's try him that he is doing at moment.

That’ll be the same Tan that appointed Mackay and Warnock who both got us promoted !!??
Paying a fortune for managers doesn’t guarantee promotion. The sooner the fans accept that the sooner we might get, and keep, a decent manager.

I've got no agenda against Tan.There are managers who will take the job.Hudson needs help.I'd keep him as coach.
This season is like no other a month break to sort things out.
Come back Neil.
