MY VIEW / OPINION: CARDIFF CITY TONIGHT TOOK A BIT OF A BA

MY VIEW / OPINION:

CARDIFF CITY TONIGHT TOOK A BIT OF A BATTERING & IT COULD OF BEEN MORE

MARK HUDSON NEEDS HELP?? ( cheap / lack of experience once again)

Our passing tonight has been awful tonight

For me we were outplayed and were never in the game, yes we had a player sent off, but things are certainly not looking good as City are now looking closer to the bottom three.

Ive seen 10men do a lot better than how we handled it.

Hudson inexperienced??

Is our squad that good in depth??

Is Hudson the answer?????

Yes there are quality players there, but are there enough??

Scoring goals still a major problem

FIRST-HALF:QPR were at the time controlling the game and then bang, Simpson hauled down Amstrong and Dykes scored a pen and with City down to 10men, Dykes 2nd goal was to easy

SECOND- HALF: The defence looked like it was being frazzled at times  QPR could of been 3,4 nil up. Then bang GOAL! QPR 3-0 Cardiff City
Goal. Paal with a looping header at the back post.

QPR 3 CARDIFF CITY 0
H-T 2-0

Subs: Alnwick, Ralls, Etete, Sang, Nelson, Philogene, Harris.

18th min: Penalty QPR. Simpson hauls down Armstrong and is sent off!
GOAL! QPR 1-0 Cardiff City (Dykes 19)
Dykes dispatches.

21st min: Sawyers off, Nelson on.

26th min: Chair with a stunning cross into the box and Dykes gets a toe on it and pings it into the crossbar!

33mins:GOAL! QPR 2-0 Cardiff City (Dykes 33)
Chair crosses to Dykes, who taps in. So easy.

H-T 2-0

45th min: Perry Ng off, Tom Sang on.

61st min: Robinson off, Mark Harris on.

67th min:How has Dykes not scored a third?! Johansen with a lovely cross and Dykes heads from five yards out, but Allsop gets down quickly to save.

GOAL! QPR 3-0 Cardiff City (Paal 73)
Goal. Paal with a looping header at the back post.

Ralls and Philogene are on, but largely having to defend. Cardiff were getting battered here.

He wasn't hauled down at all, he briefly put his arm out, an absolute shocking desicion.
Yes we were awful again & I just don't think Hudson is the man for the job, he comes across as too soft.

Pathetic red card, game over after that .

For whatever reason we have lost our way as a team... simply no attacking intent playing 451 formation then reverting to 441 after red card..... is Hudson right for job seriously doubt it if past 3 games are anything to go by? We need a manager who is prepared to take risks morison Hudson do not take risks formation wise result is we go goal down we invariable lose or we dont put opposition under pressure enough to have a shot at goal! 4 shots tonight none on target similar problem previous games that in nutshell is our problem. Only a manager willing to take a risk is going to change that situation.

I think it's little hard to criticise Hudsons performance tonight when you are down to ten men in less than 20 minutes away to a good side. Last Saturday was a bigger failure. We are in a relegation fight. Will be all season as our team is not good enough. Hudson will be finished by the weekend though as anyone thinking we will get anything in the derby is on drugs. Just give them the three points now. It's a shame for Hudson, I like him and he speaks well. The team are not good enough though.

Naive from Hudson

Nkounkou is never a full back, everyone can see it but we play a flat back 4 :o He is a liability there. The jacks will be planning to play through their right-hand side all game

Sawyers is an attacking midfielder who has lost a yard of pace and plays deeper, he is great if you are home on the front foot with lots of possession, we were never doing that this evening.

What are the chances that a rookie manager will be championship ready in their first job ? Rooney, Lampard, Gerrards reputations let them get into that league why do we think that Hudson and Morison ? Its like expecting an 18-year-old to be ready for the first team. If they are then they will be playing higher than the championship.

Go and get Rob Edwards (if we can)

It's not just about tonight but had same problem since McCarthy we play a defensive minded formation despite having quite fast players in all positions... there are times and places to play defensively but not before we've even kicked x ball even without a red card we didn't look like going to get anything out game by way we set up initially.. like said 451 then 441 is ok if push wing backs ect forward but we do not fo that in fact takes so long to get outside own half we invariably lose possession quickly like today 4 shots today less Saturday is not going to get you a win.... annoying part is only 6 points off top 6 but these last two games mean lost ground generally ....only need good run but cannot see how that's going to happen if we dont get into opposition area to score.

I agree with this:

And you can lay as much blame as you like on the red card, but Cardiff fans cannot think they were anywhere near the better team even before that flashpoint just before the 20-minute mark.

Very poor performance before going 1 down, that was game over with the red card.
Club in a bloody mess and I think we all that.

2 games now and 2 poor refereeing decisions have changed them.

Who says these balance themselves out oflver the season?

Jack's be getting 6 red cards, 12 disallowed goals and we'll be allowed to play with 15 players. We might actually get a shot on target then.

In all seriousness, I'm looking more at the Wigan game, we played good stuff. We'll win some and we'll lose some. Discarding last night as the game was over after the red (and Nelson coming on).

Bluebirds.

It wasn’t a penalty or a red, but everything in those first 20 minutes suggested a hiding was on the cards. Cardiff’s passing game has started to dry up and they were back to being wide open through the middle again. Sawyers is talented, but has he always played at walking pace?
