MY VIEW / OPINION:

BOTTOM OF THE TABLE COVENTRY CAME AWAY WITH THE 3PTS AT THE CCS IN A HARD FOUGHT MATCH.

Cardiff played some good football at times but bottom of the table Coventry created a number of good chances and took one of theirs, that was the difference between the two sides.

For me 3pts badly dropped at home and Mark Hudson’s first defeat.

There were shouts for a penalty for Robinson and a goal disallowed.

For me over all Coventry deserved the 3pts.





FIRST-HALF: Even stevens and both sides created a number of chances, including Coventry missing an open goal, Cardiff conceded a sloppy goal.
End to end and some very good football at times.




SECOND-HALF: Robinson put the ball in the next which was disallowed, Not sure if that's offside or for a suspected handball. Coventry had the better of the 2nd half.

It wasnt a poor performance and we deserved a draw. Madley was dreadful and harshly ruled out our equaliser when it clearly came off one of their defenders. Huffed and Puffed but credit Coventry for defending well. Staying up is all we can expect this season and another day are luck and the referee will be different. Final point is Nkounkou. Hes not a full back. Not sure what he is other than awful today. Play Bagan next game.

For me that first substitution by Coventry changed the game. All credit to their manager, the sort of manager we need.

Agreed, we didn't do anything of note after that substitution and Coventry were a different team. Amazing how much difference it may & all credit to their manager for making the change when he did.

They may have been bottom but most games been away and played 3 games less... to be fair they are a solid side as results away show... but we were architects of our own downfall especiall 2nd half we were shoddy and lacked energy only ever deserved a draw but besides Robinson goal disallowed we did very little in front goal think had 1 shot on target late into game.....

Was like an end of season game didn’t really think we had a spring in our step was a laboured performance

I was in Canton and Robinson's goal shouldn't have been disallowed. We had a very good shout for a penalty as well.

But we didn't test their keeper other than that.

Two poor teams today.

Not sure why they were celebrating like they'd just won the league at the end.

His goal was a 50/50 call normally expect it to stand but having madeley as ref tipped it to their favour...... people are confusing when he scored and when he was offside.... he looked offside initially so technically he came back from offside position to collect ball ... even though defender touched ball he was deemed offside from initial ball.... presume after madeley went over to lino they put 2 & 2 together and got offside decision... like said could gone either way.

Thought we were back to our bestest shite today, left and right back poor. A game we should have won.

No idea what the gameplan was, its all percentage stuff, it looked like both full backs were told to stay in position and were fcuking useless .

Sawyers came on and slowed the game down when we were chasing, NG was the wide option when we just brought on the villa kid. Its a pretty shallow squad

Ok just read what madeley said to Hudson? Madeley is a plonker the lino never saw defender touch ball if he did hes got xray vision as it happened wrong side of him...... so why did madeley go over to him? His opinion about defender not in control of where ball went is extremely lame as player clearly moved towards ball and missed controlled it off his thigh... so was good goal except in madeleys opinion.

Lacked any spark today and always thought the 1st goal would win the game.
No significant game plan and out thought by their manager.

I thought their goal was offside in the build up d ours should have stood.We really didn’t shoot enough as for our corners(deliveries wer good) but nobody looks like getting a head on them.

Doesn’t help NG at back where we have been used to CNs contributed headed goals he very rarely attacks balls well with his head
