Wales Women are playing Switzerland tonight in Zurich in a European play-off final.

The game kicked off at 6pm.


This is the biggest game in history of the Wales women's team. They have never qualified for a major tournament and this is the first time they have ever been involved in the play-offs to qualify for a major tournament. They beat Bosnia 1-0 in their play-off semi final on Thursday at CCS.

A win would not guarantee Wales a place at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

If Wales win by two or more goals, they could make World Cup based on ranking points, but are relying on results in the other play-off finals.

A 1-0 Wales win would send them into an inter-confederation play-off in New Zealand in February, 2023

Own fault 1min earlier we had chance of simple ball down wing to our winger that would have ended game probably... but she tried 50yrd cross field ball losses possession and they break and score..

Did same for euros winning with 2 mins to go and let Ireland in to equalise dodgy keeper....we lost out but we do need new keeper o'Sullivan as been dodgy every time seen wales play last night was no exception.... also got a female version of bale in fishlock? Her time has passed Allan, too many games proving too much for her these days, as you say a luxury we can't afford. As for keeper there is a reason she is still at Cardiff (no disrespect) and not at big club.

If anyone as played football they should know that you cannot touch ball once you've kicked it ..... unless its hit another player... seen player slip and touch ball with both feet and freekick given ... they did work it out eventually..
