Who is the most boring footy commentator of them all past or present? Sadly I’m afraid Danny Gabbidon has to be up there. Also Radcliffe - just awful. Iwan Roberts is not boring but just talks twaddle/the bleeding obvious.

i like gabbs, i find earnie annoying, some of the things he says make no sense, we won a game last week, when mark harris scored a lovely goal, blackburn. and earnie said, thats the goal that moves a striker up a level in quality, he will be a better striker from scoring it

Agree about Gabbidon, always sounds miserable and boring to listen to.

In terms of commentators, I find Sam Matterface and Darren Fletcher the worst. Martin Tyler gets some criticism these days but I think he's still very good, having met him as well he knows an awful lot about football at all levels.

In terms of pundits/co-commentators, Danny Murphy and Efan Ekoku are the worst in my opinion. Not a fan of Andy Hinchcliffe either. Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Alan Shearer amongst the best. For the EFL, would say Lee Hendrie is very good.

Don’t mind Gabbidon but Iwan Robert’s and Earnie are truly awful.
