Steve Morison and what football means for you

Mon Oct 10, 2022 5:40 pm

I don’t post often on here but I’ve been about for a good while on here, played in the aamb v ccmb Fred keenor statue game

A veteran you could say  so I’d like too think my opinion was half about. I don’t know if it’s been done yet, but thank you Steve Morison. Wether or not he reads the board is another thing but thanks for bringing my team Cardiff back. I started watching Cardiff in the Dave jones days and loved how crazy it was and without you maybe it would of stayed that way. Not only that but just watching a wales football documentary you were upfront for us in the time we changed for the best and it’s ironic how you were there too change city for the Better, hats off too you :occasion5: cheers

Football means something different too me than every one I know in the valleys, my team
Represents the capital city of the country I live in, how inclusive it is for all people no matter where you’re from you’re made too feel welcome at the city :bluescarf:

I love watching football with players who have pride in the club and it feels like these lot believe and love the city :bluescarf:

I genuinely enjoy football as well and seeing us play attacking football is so refreshing. I can’t watch premiere league games I just can’t get into it like I can efl, yes the skill is considerably lower but I love it none the less. You can’t beat watching people kick f@ck out of eachother all game, giving opposition fans and players absolute hell all game, baggy kits, Simon Walton sending some one flying and getting a straight red, Paul parry on the wing, purse hammering penalty’s down the middle, Iwan reddan

What a time to be alive

Well said. Whether fans like SM or not. He put this squad together and we like how they can play, he put in place the ethos and the coaching staff to support the style and deserves a decent level of credit. His spikey interviews amused me as it flew in the face of the usual corporate, compliant, boring manager interviews we see so often now. Time will tell if he is a good manager or not, or if he’s like Peter Taylor was to Cloughie. A recruiter and man behind the man. I’m enjoying watching us now, more than I have for a few years. So I’m grateful for that and wish him well.
