Wigan boss Leam Richardson said:

“It just summed our day up – if he’d had the free kick at the other end, it would have bounced off the crossbar and not into the goal.”

The game was delayed for seven minutes while the matter was investigated. The FA will demand answers from Wigan as to how this happened.

According to the Sun, the decision to go ahead with the game "came after match and club officials agreed to play as fans were already in the stadium."

And we'd have won 2-1 anyway, so what does it matter?

If the game hadnt gone ahead we would have been awarded a 3-0 as Wigan failed to fulfill the fixture.

Bugger the goals being too high , if the goals were wider Ojo would have scored another, and not hit the post.

Not anymore mate. She'd be stunning and brave and placed on a women only shortlist for summit or other.

;-)

Seriously though how the hell did the groundsmen get two different sizes of posts? Surely the come in a standard size?
