Under-21s play Swansea City in mini-South Wales derby

Cardiff City host Swansea City in the under-21s South Wales derby this Tuesday afternoon.

The Bluebirds take on their bitter rivals in Leckwith (1pm kick-off) after a mixed start to their campaign, which has seen them win four and lose three of their opening seven games of the campaign.

Going into the tie, the young Bluebirds sit two places above their Swansea counterparts in the Professional Development League 2 table, with Cardiff in seventh place. Swansea have won only two of their opening seven fixtures

How did Tanner and young Colwill play?

At what point are we likely to see James Crole being involved in the match day squad, seems to be a natural and regular goalscorer for the youngsters.

Leahy needs a call up. He can score goals but most importantly his play on the ball and around the box is extremely impressive

Huge jump to first team as Tanner found out v Pompey but if you don’t give them a go, even from the bench, you’ll never know I suppose.

Would much rather see Bagan and Tanner go in loan to a lower league club than play in under 23s
